can people that are participating please put something on your wishlist.. and also put down the stuff that you don't want? otherwise i'm getting a gift card... lol. because i'm not that thoughtful. sorry in advance my person.

grr, but that takes work! gc's are lame. i refuse to buy gift cards. and if you buy me a gift card, it shows you don't care Wink

okay, i added stuff, happy? i just went from the gift suggestions that elfster had. i don't particularly need anything on that list (except perhaps the hello kitty earrings, i think i need those....not sure yet), it's just a suggestion of what kinds of things i like (random, i know).

There is a little "button" type thing like the pin on Pinterest and you can easily add stuff to your page that isn't on suggested list or things other people have wished for.

I have some stuff on mine. My stuff is all over the place price wise because I'm in more than one Elfster exchange and I use it as a place to remember other things, so I hope my person doesn't see that and freak out.

I just answered the questionnaire that husky made a post for (and that Jenn just gave me the link to). I don't know, IMO the point of a gift exchange is to be creative and be surprised... I mean, it's $20 and this isn't even the only gift you'll get for Christmas, so I think it doesn't have to be like how you tell your H what you want him to get you. It takes all the fun out of it! JMO...

amanda says this better than i ever could. i've been trying to get this point across from the beginning----that i just hope my gift giver "knows me" well enough to pick out something good and fitting. i don't want a gift card or a generic gift. i want something that you picked up and said "this is totally jennlin".

I would rather get something thoughtful that isn't in my taste than something picked from a wishlist like it's a shopping list. That said, i did list actual items i would love to receive, so the person who drew me has lots to choose/draw inspiration from.

I can't think of particular items to list that i don't want...
ETA: added more quotes that make more sense than when i write for myself.

I love when people get me things that "remind me of them" not just things from a list. This stresses my hubs out so much that I had to give him a pass... He tries but gets too nervous and usually goes with a specific this I asked for.
