We have the same stuff each year, and this year we get to host. We plan on having:
Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, rolls, cranberry sauce, and sweet potato casserole. Pie for dessert, and not sure if we're having an appetizer.
Do you ladies have any suggestions on what to add/delete? Something that might be one of your favorites that we have overlooked?
TIA!

Re: Thanksgiving menu
my bookshelf!
Bloggy
I'd do another casserole - just so there's something unique
Even just something light and vegetarian to add to the palate. Here are some options:

They say entrees, but most veg entrees are light enough to be sides.
Sigh, I love Thanksgiving and as a long-time lurker, I think the holiday season is just the thing to turn me into an active nestie!
As for your question, that menu sounds great and pretty similar to ours! I am planning to bring Trader Joe's pumpkin butter with apples to dip for an appetizer and we usually have some kind of cheese and cracker combo at our family parties as well!
And maybe some fun cookies or brownies to go along with the pie? Or at least two kinds of pie, because it's always good to have options!

Corn Souffle has quickly become a holiday staple in our families (my family and my husband's family once we made it for them). You'll be loving these leftovers for days too. Here's a link to a recipe I found that is the same as the one my aunt wrote down for me. Enjoy!
