Natalie Wood's death investigation reopened

TMZ reporting that Natalie Woods's death has been reopened as a homicide investigation. Wow.

Re: Natalie Wood's death investigation reopened

  • The only thing I'm surprised about is that it took this long.  I wonder what "new information" spurred this.

I wonder if they'll share anything new during the news conference or if it will just be an announcement.

  • Well, she's not a drug addict famous psuedo celeb, soooo.......I guess no press conf.

    She rocked.

  • If I have a girl, I have always planned to name her Natalie.
  • I'm watching the captain of the ship on the Today show. He pretty much came on the air and said nothing. David Gregory was getting super annoyed and cut off the interview, no BS 'thank you'. I did learn that Christopher Walkin was on the boat though.

  • I'm so happy they're reinvestigating. This case has always been so fishy to me. The circumstances surrounding Natalie Wood's death, Marilyn Monroe's death and the Black Dahlia case have fascinated me for years. I will definitely be following this story.
  • I'll be following this story as well.
  • I guess in his book the captain somewhat accuses her husband of having something to do with it. There was a fight and a he broke a wine bottle before it happened.

I saw part of this this morning...I agree the case always sounded fishy but I also think the boat captain came off as shady.  Why is he coming forward now?  I feel like even if something off did happen, I don't trust the boat captain either...like he has ulterior motives or just trying to get his 15 minutes.

  • A waste of time, money and resources.  Unless the police can determine that there was a premeditated murder that occurred, even if they do 'discover' something, the statute of limitations has expired.

Frankly, the captain sounds the most culpable considering he was drunk and taking orders from a civilian while on the water.
