Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Housing update
For those who are interested...the last time I posted about this, we had walked away from a house we were under contract on because of mold and other issues.
Well, last week we found another house in the same neighborhood that's similar (some pluses, some minuses, comparatively), and we are once again under contract. The seller didn't budge much on price, which was annoying, but at the end of the day, the difference in what we wanted to spend and what we ended up spending wasn't enough to walk away over.
So the inspection is going to be tomorrow afternoon. Please cross your fingers and/or pray that it goes much better than the last one did.
If all goes well, our closing date is 12/27! The woman already moved out of the house, so we took advantage of the opportunity to close quickly.

Good luck at the inspection tomorrow. Are you going to be present for it? Also, make sure your inspector doesn't set the radon test until we have drier weather (Friday). These damp, rainy conditions cause misleading elevated readings.
Yes, we'll definitely be there. They are setting up the radon test tomorrow, but it will be there until Monday, so hopefully it will even out over that period.
