Can we talk Christmas lists yet?
Who are you buying what? Any fun, interesting gift ideas?

Re: Can we talk Christmas lists yet?
I haven't gotten too far yet, but...
DH -- we're getting new phones and I think that will be it for each other.
Mom -- Kindle, cover & Amazon GC
Sister -- Marc Jacobs crossbody bag
SIL -- Clothes
Aunts -- Makeup cases with my favorite nail polish in them
Otherwise, I really have no idea.
Dh - I have no clue. I'm still thinking about the ipad for him, but unsure.
parents - no clue at all. Any suggestions are welcome
nieces and nephews - sent emails asking what they want
family friend - again no clue
we don't do cousins and aunts
ETA: two of DH's cousins I am really close with, so I am going to make them these necklaces that I found on pinterest (glass tile with paper design on the backside) Waiting for them to arrive in the mail so I can put them together.
Most of my shopping is done since I won't be up for any last minute shopping.
Mr.D and I only exchange a couple small gifts so I got him an Eagles sweatshirt, the Band of Brothers series on Blu-Ray and a new pair of pajama pants.
We have 4 sets of parents so that's kind of a pain in the neck for the holidays. We try and keep the limit to $100-$150 per set and usually either get them GCs to restaurants or decorations for their houses.
I got my brother a GC to BBB because he has a new apartment. Still need to come up with something for my 10 y.o. brother and 7 y.o. sister. I loathe shopping for toys but am drawing blanks on other ideas right now and am running out of time.
We savings bonds to our neice and nephew because they get enough stuff from their parents and my MIL.
We don't exchange gifts with Mr.D's sisters/spouses and instead go out to dinner together after the craziness of the holidays.

Ugh, I have no clue about gifts this year. Usually I am ahead of the game.
My parents - we may chip in with my sibs for a ipad
DH - no clue. He is being a grinch at the moment. We will exchange ornaments like we do every year, but I haven't decided what ornament to get/make yet.
Sibs - we do a pollyanna through Elfster. I will find out who I have on Thanksgiving.
MIL - no clue, we all chipped in for an ipad/accessories last year. we usually do a combined gift with my BILs/SILs.
Aunt - I usually get her a small Swarovski piece for her collection.
12 nieces and nephews - probably some outfits from Justice, some Star Wars Lego kits, some of those memory games or similar that JenD posted about a while ago.
I make oatmeal raisin cookies by request every year for both of my grandfathers.
I will make homemade Bailey's for some friends and co-workers.
dh- maybe the iphone for the face time thing. he travels a lot and it would be cool to use it when he reads ds bedtime stories over the phone. there are also some mlb cufflinks i really like.
ds- not a lot since i have a feeling he will be flooded with stuff. we are going to get some blocks for sure and maybe some wooden toys.
mom- anthropologie necklace, amazon gc for her kindle
mil/fil- no clue
sil/bil- no clue
we are doing calendars of the little one for some of the family members. we buy for a ton of people so some here are some of the other ideas: a shave at the grooming lounge, cool rock coasters from uncommon good, reversible nike running jacket, scarf from anthro, and educational-ish toys from melissa and doug.
DH and I probably won't do anything for each other.
Everyone else is getting a wedding album once we get the pictures back.
urban outfitters has some ridiculously adorable stuffed muppet ornaments this year. i bought animal over the weekend and i am trying not to go back for kermit, piggy and fozzy.
We only give gifts to the kids.
J (nephew): Angry Birds: Knock On Wood Game. He's going to love this. It's real life Angry Birds. Set up the block and shoot the birds to try to knock down what you've built.
E (niece): Wooden Toaster Set for her wooden play kitchen
D (cousin): Wooden U.S. Map puzzle
M (Cousin): Personalized Connecticut Wooden Teether
C (Step-niece): Personalized Connecticut Wooden Teether and need to get another little something.
Baby A (niece/nephew? due in early 2012) Connecticut Wooden Teether
I still need to shop for the twins. I'm thinking I'll get them purses or shoes. They are turning into girly girls and are getting into dress-up.
I also have another cousin who I'm debating over if he's reached the age of no longer qualifying for gifts. His most resent FB pic of him shows him smoking so I'm thinking he's crossed off my list!
This is awesome - thanks! DH is obsessed with John Denver and the Muppets at Christmas. I will take a look!
T1- supposedly he still believes in Santa so his big gift is an ipod touch and then not sure what else will be under the tree. But I am working on winter classic tix so I can be the coolest mom ever but Santa will not be getting the credit for those if I do get them
T2- his big gift is a drum set. yes, i have lost my mind
T3- i have a feeling she is going to be the slighted one this year from Santa since my crazy family already bought out the TRU girl section as well as the Gap. The only thing I got her so far is a plush baby Minnie
For my IL's I think we may be getting them a gift certificate to a Viking cooking class that is being held at Harrah's in AC. We are going to check it out this weekend and I will report back but I thought this would be a great gift idea to share
My mom is getting pandora charms as well as Isotoner gloves with the tech fingertip to go with her new iphone my dad got her
DH wants a new driver so that is all he will be getting since I had no clue how expensive golf stuff is!
My goddaughter is getting American Girl Doll accessories, another ridiculously expensive thing I wasn't expecting. For $50 the doll gets half an outfit, ugh
Everyone else, I am clueless.

Can I be your sister?
Instead of exchanging gifts with SIL/BIL, we are adopting a family. I don't know what we're doing for anyone else yet.
DD: 6-24-11
EDD: 9-20-14
I am so behind on this this year.
Em: 3 in 1 tricycle, then mostly little things. Got her a xylaphone, books, some little people stuff, and plush Yo Gabba Gabba dolls so far. Maybe a cabbage patch kid?
DH: I am totally stumped here. His ideas for me consisted of a cd and a book. Thanks. Not sure what else besides his usual undershirts/boxers/socks. Maybe just tickets to something. We aren't spending a lot this year.
Dad: Got him a birdhouse, and probably Band of Brothers on dvd.
Mom: I think I'm getting her a grandmothers ring similar to this: http://www.zales.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11217910&kpc=1
Which will be her Christmas, Mother's Day, and birthday gift.
ILs: Got some handmade pottery for my MIL, and my FIL is dh's duty.
Both sets of parents are also getting a photo calendar.
Nephew (3): Some tag reader books, and some younger board games.
Niece (6 months): Some girly fisher price toys since all her hand me down toys are boy/unisex. Got her a cute FP picnic set and this toy that Emma was obsessed with so far: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Vtech-Spin-n-Learn-Teaching-Top/5913450
Probably gc for my sister and SIL/BIL. They are always the hardest to shop for.
The year we got married was the best/easiest for presents. We also did albums and 8x10s for the wall.
I got a stomp rocket for the 10 yo boy and a spa/science kit for the 8 yo girl in my life...

http://www.fatbraintoys.com/toy_companies/scientific_explorer_/spa_science.cfm
DH - got him some clothes on sale at Banana Republic (shirts were like $9!), and Modern Warfare 3 video game
Oliver - play kitchen (probably the ikea one) and play food, puzzles
SIL (I'm her secret santa) - 2 sweaters and a bracelet from J.Crew
Mom - moleskine 2012 calendar, perfume, and ??
Dad - ???
MIL (DH is her secret santa) - leopard print gloves from jcrew, perfume, and ??
Nieces, Nephews -- Everyone is getting a tshirt from MiniBoden (toys take up too much room in our suitcases)
jpfeif- that is awesome! I wish my SIL & BIL would do something like this with us. One time I suggested all volunteering together instead of a gift exchange. You would have thought I just asked them to shoot themselves in the foot or something.
DH - Wheel Barrel, ladder and sneakers (things he asked for)
Parents - Pictures/frames of the kid
IL's and Grandparents - SIL and I got portraits done for them, so again, pictures.
Siblings - not exchanging and I'm pumped about it.
Nieces/Nephews - Little games and clothes
I have a very easy Christmas list this year.
