Here's one that showed up on my wall yesterday. It's one of those "I graduated high school with you so I like to spy on you via FB and see if my life is better than yours" friends, and she seems to use FB primarily as a venue to advertise stuff she sells. I have no idea what that stuff is, but this week's sounded so much like a middle-of-the-night infomercial that I just had to share:

My first one, I don't get people who post one word status updates like daily "fantastic" "interesting" "pissed" Um...OK!?!?!?!
The other is if I see that darn "look close and you'll see a baby in tree". Ok people, that has been around for 20 years. Give it a break!

I had to block a cousin who always complained about her pregnancy...how sick she was, how much pain she was in, how tired she was. It really got on my last damn nerve especially since she is only 6 weeks ahead of me.
It was like she was the only person in the world to ever be pregnant. She just had her baby, so I unblocked her. Now it's how tired she is, how much the baby cries, how much breastfeeding hurts. It has only been a few days and I re-blocked her already.

I have a friend that is what I call FB Bi-Polar. One day his post will be something like this (today):
finished with the machine, now to do sit ups, then back to research. it is going to be a wonderful day
But then the next day his post will be something like this (yesterday)
Are you ever woken up by a sense of panic, sweating, barely able to breather? At first you think you're having a heart attack, but then you realize its just the emptiness in your heart.
And it's always like that. One day on top of the world, one day absolute misery. Oh and there was this too by someone I barely know (FI of a good friend of mine)
I LOVE THE PHONE CALLS WHERE THEY SAY WE ARE GIVING YOU 1000 IN FREE GROCERIES HOWEVER YOU ONLY NEED TO COVER THE COST OF THE SHIPPING. IF IM PAYING FOR IT THEN ITS NOT FREE YOU DUMMY!!

One friend posts 'I am so pissed, Im crying.'
1. This sounds like a desperate attempt to get ppl to ask you what's wrong and why are you upset.
2. When they did ask, she blabs that she and her sister are in a fight. Who cares?
3. I hate when people feel the need to call out their fights and arguments on their facebook statuses. She has also spoken about how much she dislikes her MIL. Some things are better left unposted and family drama (or friend drama) is best left in the family and not on the equivalent of an online billboard.
