No one has started randoms yet?
Does everyone else see an Oreck coupon that expired 2 days ago over here ---->

Re: Tuesday thoughts
I guess were random-less today.
I don't see the Oreck coupon.
I'm feeling a little "in the holiday spirit" today. I got crafty (for me) and "decorated" a square vase with a few leaves and leaf shaped floating candles. I'll finish it off with a few river rocks that I'll pick up later.
I cleaned up my fragrance oil candle holder and was going to "lite" it and discovered I'm out of oils.
I really don't use it a lot so I can't remember the last time I bought oils. I ordered some oil from PartyLite but I won't get it until next week. At least it is nice and clean again.
I'm also in the mood for cookies but I don't want a lot but I do want fresh made. Of course it could be more likely that I just want cookie dough. Has anyone tried the Cookie dough dips?
Hi! I'm still trying to limit my nesting to a certain degree. But it's lunch now.
I don't think I have anything very random-y today though.
Oh, I have a random.
I feel really self-conscious about the food that I eat at lunch now that I'm in a more open area and don't have my own office. I eat at my desk and I worry that my left-overs don't smell as appetizing to those around me, as they do to me.
I see the Oreck coupon!
Kasa- I am sure your food smells really good. The only time I ever raised an eyebrow about what a co-worker was eating was when someone brought in ribs. Napkin tucked into shirt, sauce on the face, licking fingers... Some food is best left at home.
My coworker used to bring in tuna fish and microwave it. That was gross to me. The ribs visual makes me laugh at the inappropriateness.
Jim had a one day work week. He and Henry are returning pop cans and visiting his parents. I'm doing some computer-based training for school, and this is my 5 minute break. This morning, we busted major moves on the "to-do" list.
Hello all!
Kasa, considering your new open work environment, I have a hypothetical situation for you. Would it make you self-concious to sit at your desk holding a bag of frozen peas to the back of your head because a dog with a head the size of watermelon smashed your noggin with his fat skull and now you're fending off a painful goose egg?
Just wondering for no particular reason.
I am *so* busy at work (and loving it) and very much looking forward to this weekend.
We're going Christmas tree hunting on Sunday.
Juli, sorry about your head! Feel better.
Oh, no! That sounds painful. Feel better soon!
And to answer your question, that might be frowned on here. "Clients could be walking through. What kind of impression would it give them if our staff are holding vegetables to their heads?"
Is this gray paint for the playroom?
:-) For some reason "staff holding vegetables to their heads" left me with the image of a worker holding a carrot against his face and that made me giggle.
Woo hoo! When we get around to finishing the basement we're thinking gray is the color. Happy Painting!
For me, it was a bunch of beets.
Poor Juli's head. Ow.
No, I painted the play room green and blue. Gray is for the adult playroom - where the pool table and other yet to be determined adult toys will go, attached to the room where the bar will eventually be installed.
