prayers needed
isaac has been projectile vomiting the last 2 days after EVERY feeding... he just turned 3 weeks old yesterday so i called the pediatrician and they wanted to see him right away.. they took his temperature and it was 100.5 so they sent us to the er immediately to run some tests..
he got bloodwork done, catherized for a urine sampla, and a spinal tap.. everything we got back so far was normal and his temp even came back down to 98ish.. but with the symptoms we were describing the did an abdominal ultrasound and diagnosed him with pyloric stenosis..
he is scheduled for surgery first thing tomorrow.. its a fairly common procedure but i have been a wreck with all the poking and prodding and the thought of a 3 week old undergoing anesthesia... but im glad we have a clear diagnosis and a clear solution..
just need prayers that everything goes well during surgery and that somehow i can stay sane througout... we are at all childrens for the next 2 days at least... im hoping to get home by thanksgiving... thanks everyone.. hope the holidays arent too stressful for the rest of you!

Oh no, poor baby! I am praying that the little guy will be just fine and have a speedy recovery.
I can only imagine how much stress you are under. What a nerve wracking thing to go through as a new mother!
Let us know how everything goes. You and your family will definitely be in my thoughts.
