Definitely a thank you ASAP. It could very well be the deciding factor between you & another candidate. Plus it never hurts to look courteous
Tritto this. I usually send one within an hour or 2 of speaking to them. Usually something along the lines of "Thank you for taking the time to speak to me today. I enjoyed hearing more about x position and the company it is with. I was pleased to here x,y,z about the position and feel that it would be an excellent fit for me. If I can answer any other questions for you please don't hesitate to ask. I look forward to speaking with you again soon."
