The good thing about having a doctors apt in the morning is that I get to sleep in a bit. I'm just now enjoying a cup of coffee with the cats, but I'll soon have to go finish getting ready for the day. Hopefully today I'll find out when I'm supposed to be scheduling my next big u/s, which is really exciting.
Not much happened here yesterday. Derek got 1 more cabinet built, I made a super easy dinner (meatballs!) and we watched some TV (Top Chef Just Dessert finale, finally, boo to that, and HIMYM, OMG to that).
Tonight, likely much of the same. I took on some labour intensive Christmas cards this year, so I'll likely be working on those again.
How is everyone today?
Re: Good Morning!
Hello ladies. I'm sitting here taking a break while I eat lunch, a nice lentil soup. Its really yummy and I think I need to start cooking more with lentils!
We're going to see some tennis tonight, Nadal vs Federer so it should be a great match. I love it when DH gets invited through work and I can tag along!
And we also need to get cracking on our holiday cards. Can't believe how quick the holidays are coming.

Good Morning!
Last night was a christmas ornament fail. I could not find any green and red christmas ornaments that looked decent. Everything was off the wall colors like pink and purple and orange....so anyway I got some blue and silver ones. I have had blue and silver for 4 years now so I wanted something different but o well they will work and the tree looks pretty. We went to backyard burger and ate last night my sister had never been and the kids love their play place.
Today is a very quite day at work since there are only 3 people here in my office. It is suppose to get bad weather this afternoon/tonight so I am cooking an easy dinner and enjoying my couch and the tv.
Morning, all! My umbrella somehow fell out of my bag, and of course it's raining. Not hard, just misting, but straightening my hair wasn't worth my time today. Oh well! What can you do?
At least I had the sense to wear jeans into work today.
Last night was really quiet--I made dinner (with crash hot potatoes I found on Pinterest; we loved them!), then caught up on The Walking Dead. Does anyone else watch that show? It's become a snoozefest for me. I feel like they're squandering all the great stories from the comic book. But I'm in it for the long haul since I bought the season on iTunes.
Tonight should be a gym night. Then half a day tomorrow and freedom for five days!
Morning! I'm in a little early this morning, mainly to try to beat the traffic, and so I can get the little bit I need to do on Wednesday done today as well. I have no intention of coming in here Wednesday if I can avoid it.
This evening is pub quiz and a last minute grocery store run. Tomorrow will be list making of all varieties. I love lists! I'd also like to get another box of Christmas cards - my list seems to have exploded - and a pedicure.

Good morning, I'm super tired and sleepy as usual so I brought my coffee mug with me today.
Last night I had a lot of fun at a friends bachelorette party. It was great to take a break from school work and just enjoy some time with the girls.
Today I hope to get most of my homework done so I won't have to worry about it during the Thanksgiving break.
Good morning! For some reason, several of my coworkers thought that today would be a good food day at work. Mocha toffee tort and a donut for breakfast? Don't mind if I do.
Last night I got quite a bit of my laundry done. I'll have a little more to do tonight and then we should be ready to head out of town again on Wednesday.
Dora* you had a bachelorette to go to on a Monday night? That seems mean somehow.
Last night I finally got to making my potato soup. It's super thick, because I let the potatoes cook too long, so it's almost like a loaded mashed potato now. I'm sorta bummed, but it's still good.
I was super late this morning. DH is still sick, if not worse than yesterday, but the bub is feeling better. That means I am on total baby duty 24/7. Not fun at all. He was up a lot last night since he wasn't eating well with his stuffy nose before. Then I realized I needed gas like whoa, and I managed to spill water all over everything in my car, including my coat I was supposed to wear today and inside my purse. Fun fun. At least it was just water.
So excited for 5 days of freedom here as well.
Good Morning!
I'm hoping today is my Friday. If it is I may go to my parents tomorrow and help my mom prep for Thanksgiving. I'm not going to thanksgiving at their house but at my In laws but helping my mom cook is one of the things I miss most about the holidays.
Yeah I know...my friends and I are such party animals! lol
Good morning ladies. I am feeling rested today since O finally STTN again for the first time in weeks. I even woke up and got to work early which was a nice change of pace. Not much going on today besides work. Boss lady is on vacation and I'm getting a lot done so I'm hoping to continue that today so I can leave early tomorrow.
Tonight should be low key. I didn't take anything out for dinner so I'll probably grill some burgers with a side of asparagus. It's my new favorite side and I've been making it all the time. Hope everyone enjoys their day!
Yay for fake Friday! Amie, today is a food day at work for us too. One of the paralegals brought in these killer PB rice crispie frosted brownies. AMAZING! My tummy kinda hurts now though.
I've got lots of stuff to get through today, but I'm looking forward to time off in London and meeting up with Sushi and her DH Friday for dinner!
Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!
I could use a re-do. I took my license and credit card to the store last night to buy all our food for this week and *thought* I left them in my jeans. After a 2 hour search they were located. I'm glad I got them back, but I was annoyed with myself and the whole situation.
Yes, I live in Seattle and yes, it rains in Seattle, but 3 inches in less than 2 hours is ridiculous. I'm going on a hunt for water boots today. I can't stand another day of the first 4-6 inches of my pants being wet until lunch.
*Neptoon - Have a blast in London!
Target has super cheap but durable rain boots. You can also add in fleece inserts for winter. Highly recommend.
Now jumping domestically.
Well that was a crazy couple of years.
I'm ok today. Ended up having to put in a half hour overtime and had a pretty late lunch. As I was leaving, I went to text DH to tell him I was running late but he had left me a message asking me to check my voicemail. He ran out to the grocery store to pick up one thing and locked his keys in the car! So, I had to drive home, get the keys and then meet him at the store. I feel bad because a quick trip ended up being really long because of my overtime. Bonus - he picked me up some skittles while he was waiting.
Hopefully it's early to bed tonight so I can gym it up before my 8am shift tomorrow morning.
Yesterday was pretty successful shopping in Michigan. I ended up with a pair of black and a pair of grey work maternity pants and one pari of maternity jeans so I think I'm set for a while. Tonight I just need to wash them so I can get them in to get hemmed so I can start wearing them and being super comfy. Can't wait!
Woohoo! Can't wait!
