Omaha Steaks...
Anyone have them before? Like/dislike?
Anyone ever order their meals? I'm wondering if this is a good idea to order? Our close friends just had a baby this weekend and we wanted to send something for them (I usually make all our friends a meal to eat and one to freeze. Since we don't live close by anymore, I wanted to send them something other than a gc- I want it as easy as possible for them)

Re: Omaha Steaks...
My company always sends a package to people for weddings, births, etc. The meat is pretty good, although not as good tasting as if it hadn't been frozen. We got sirloin steaks and hamburgers. It was nice to have them in the freezer for days I didn't have time to cook anything. Although, if your friends live in a cooler climate, it might be getting too chilly for grilling I suppose.
On thing we really liked was the stuffed baked potatoes. Very yummy.
Another thought could be a gc for a nicer take-out place, so that you're still technically getting them a nice meal.
My parents order from them all of the time. They like the burgers and steaks, but they've said that the chicken is nothing special. I'm not sure if they like the sides.
