omg, ace at the kid's birthday party? singing that song, drink in hand, super tattooed guy on the guitar...uncomfortably hilarious.
russell did seem really weird and controlling in regards to the timeline, being sure everyone *saw* the gift he got, etc. so sad.
Re: RHOBH *spoilers*
Russell was a total douchebag to Dana. Kennedy's birthday party was more appropriate than last year's party, but it was still ridiculous. Although Paul trying to mount the mechanical bull was pretty funny.
I am writing Taylor off because her priorities are fukked up. She would rather climb a social status ladder with the Real Housewives women than work on her marriage, or leave her husband in order for her and the daughter to be in a safe place. I get that Russell was screwed up in the head (obviously), but Taylor was/is in control on her reaction to his or anyone's abuse.
I'm glad we got to see the wedding planner again, he cracks me up!

Russell yelling "WHAT THE HELL" at Dana - wow. If one of my friend's husbands yelled at me like that for basically no reason.. and does he really wonder if people think he's abusive? All Dana did was say something in a normal tone to him.
What an over-the-top party.. and Kim (the blond sister?) being nasty to Brandy.. get over yourself!

Lisa and Taylor's make-up via pinky-swear - WTH? (ETA, I mistakenly said said Kim, not Taylor) I am glad that they can wipe the slate clean - but will they really? If I were Lisa I'd keep Taylor at a distance.
I don't want Lisa and Adrienne to have a falling out. It was clear that they have some animosity toward one another per the chicken cooking episode. But, they're neighbors and I like them both for different reasons. Lisa probably should've touched base with Adrienne and explained her rationalle for choosing Planet Hollywood over the Palms. It sounded like she had a friend who owned Planet Hollywood, maybe they simply offered it first.
Russel was scary intense at the party. I feel bad for Taylor but I have always thought she was slimey.
I really can't stand Taylor, and I hate that since I know she has been through a lot and abusive relationships are hard to understand. I just thinks she cares too much about keeping up with the Jones'.
Kim has something seriously wrong with her (anxiety, substance abuse, whatever). When she was talking about putting that thing above the fireplace in her house, she just seemed crazy! I saw on same entertainment news show that her boyfriend's profile is on match.com.
The party was strange- more appropiate than last years party, although I am really big into over the top birthday parties so I actually liked last years party- I just thought it was strange for a 4 year old- that was more like a 13 year old's party. This year's was more suited to a 5 year old, with kid things. The band and the singing wasn't needed- a DJ would have been more then fine, or even just a stero system to play music in the background. I didn't get the horse- I grew up showing horses and IMO that was not a pretty horse, at least buy a pretty horse if you want to show off to your friends, which is what I think that was all about.
Kim is NUTS! I have no other words for her, and what was she talking about she knew how to ride a bull, becasue she used to ride Disney horses all the time, what does one have to with the other? A bucking bull is not the same as a trail ride.
It really bugs me that I can never tell what the weather is or what season it is- at the party Kyle was in a sweater and boots and Taylor is running around in shorts- it just really bothers me!
Lisa picking out wedding invitations was crazy- I love how she said it was all about her, umm no- it's all about your daughter but whatever! I hated that big pink invitation- that was too over the top- I'm all for frilly and grand, but that was just too much!
I think Taylor is such an odd person. I think she has stated in previous episodes that she doesn't even know who she is and it's really apparent this season that is the case. I think her relationship with Russell was just for her to climb into the social scene of the rich and famous of BH and not a true relationship of love and respect. I don't know how I really feel about her because in a way I do feel bad for her, but I think she has been more concerned with fitting in and keeping up with the Jones' that she has lost sight of who she is and her priorities are a bit skewed.
Kim is so immature with the whole Brandy situation. I'm not really a fan of Brandy's, but I think it is ridiculous the way Kim and Kyle act towards her. It's just so juvenile and I feel they are the ones that started the whole thing but act like Brandy is the one who has to make it up to them some how. I get a creepy vibe from Kim's new boyfriend.
I don't understand this Dana chick at all. She seems to be trying really hard. I guess that makes sense since she is supposedly Taylor's friend and Taylor tries really hard to be accepted too.
I thought Andrienne's rant about Lisa not choosing her hotel for Pandora's bachelorette party was dumb.
Camille hasn't been around much so I wonder if she will be back next season? Maybe this is why they have introduced brandy and Dana to be replacements for her.
Lisa posted on Twitter that they did not get the giant pink invitations - they chose something much smaller and more understated. I'm glad, 'cause that pushy-ass wedding planner was getting on my nerves.
Adrienne's reaction to Pandroa's bachelorette party at Planet Hollywood was ridiculous. It sounded like Lisa's friend, who's involved in PH, made the offer to Lisa first. Why should Lisa turn that down and run to Adrienne? It's not as though she simply booked the details through Priceline or something. It was another connection of Lisa's, and they beat the Maloofs to the punch.
Kennedy's party this year was less offensive to me than last year, but still a little ridiculous, and Kennedy looked miserable the entire time. Russell's attitude toward Dana pissedmeoff, and I can't stand Dana. But a few minutes later, seeing them posing for family photos, made me sad. I know he was reportedly a douchecanoe, but he was a little girl's father and I feel terribly for her.
Can someone please teach Dana how to wear a cowboy hat? I wanted to shove that stupid thing further down on her head throughout the entire episode.
I'm glad that Kyle's improved her behavior toward Brandy. I don't like Brandy, but game night made me uncomfortable all around. I think it's ridiculous that Kim's still acting like a twatwaffle about it. Yes, Brandy was out of line, but let it go.
I miss Camille. Words I never thought I'd utter.
Mauricio on the bull was the highlight of the episode. Watching Paul trying to get on it cracked me up.
