Well, we got a BFP this morning!!! H and I are beyond thrilled! We've told both sets of parents so far, just because I want to stand on top of the world and scream it to everyone to know, but trying to keep it in until after my first appointment, or 12 weeks. I'm about 4 weeks right now.
Please, if we are friends on Facebook, don't say anything on there.
Question about being PG though. H and I leave Wednesday to go to Costa Rica to see my dad. We're planning on going zip lining while there. Do you think it's safe for me since I'm so early on?
Re: Add me to the list ladies!!!
Thanks ladies.
Another question...it is normal to have minor cramping, right? Light very light light period cramps. They're very low and normally only on my right side.
Thats normal. Thats just baby getting settled in.
I thought that when I got KU, life would be heaven and I would be without menstrual cramps.... big mistake. lol. Get used to those cramps, they are going to be around for a while

I was 10 weeks PG in Hawaii and didn't do anything!! I was paranoid and on top of that had morning sickness. (I would try to get some zofran to take with you in case you get sick while away. It saved me, but I was also on a cruise ship.)
I personally wouldn't go zip lining but when you think about it I'm not sure what about it would really be dangerous. I would ask your OB though.
congratulations!!!
I love my crazy child!

Congrats! That's wonderful news! I know you have been TTC for some time now so I bet you are over the moon
As for the cramping, I had it with Macy but I don't with this pregnancy. But everything I have read said it's totally normal as long as the cramps are mild.
I wish you a happy and healthy 9 months!
Baby Macy is here!

Congrats!!!!
Ditto everyone that said they had cramps (yup, me too) and to ask your OB about ziplining. I probably wouldn't go ziplining (of course, I probably wouldn't go NOT pregnant either, because I'm a chicken, so I'm not the best source here), but check with your OB to get the all-clear if you really want to go.

Congrats!!!
Your OB is going to tell you NO! because of the risk of being sued if something were to happen.... I think you would be fine ziplining, the harness does not sit anywhere where it would harm the baby. I was 8 weeks pg and went snow sleding... big mistake cause some HUGE guy came out of nowhere on a tube and almost took me out.

Thanks everyone!!! H and I are super excited.
I didn't chart this month. I kept track of the days, but we kinda just went with it. We went to a halloween party, and I think that's the night we conceived. If so, I need to thank the hosts over and over again
My first appointment is the 7th, for bloodwork and paperwork, then the big one on the 19th. Can't wait!!
