I can't believe I'm an aunt now
Apparently everything went very well, now I can't wait to go meet the little guy! We tried going last night when they got to the hospital, but they wouldn't let us through because apparently that counts as a visit and visiting hours are between 8am and 9pm. Is this the norm everywhere?
I've been anxiously waiting for 8am (10 minutes left!). However, my husband found out he has to work all day. Do you think it's wrong for me to go meet our new nephew without him?
Update - Thanks everyone! I did end up going and DH joined me in between his meetings. He is the most beautiful baby I have ever seen. I'm already in love, hehe.

To answer your question about visiting hours...I wish they had had visiting hours at the hospital I delivered at...H's parents and sister were there at two am when I went up to my recovery room and stuck around for like half an hour when all I wanted to do was eat and get to sleep. So no, that is not the norm everywhere, but for the sake of the new mother I wish it were!
Antonio. (to be honest, I don't like the name too much, but I'm not the mom so not my choice)
I got to hold him yesterday and I didn't want to give him back! hehehe
We're headed to the Maldives on Christmas Eve!
