Parenthood 11/23 Spoilers
What did you think? I feel bad for Christina being postpartum and feeling lousy about herself and then having this happen. I usually do think she overreacts but I see where she is coming from here.
I feel really bad for Julia and Joel, Troy was a real tool. Do you think that they will end up with the baby? I don't think Troy wants the baby he just wants money.
Crosby and Jasmine were so bad together, but this episode made it seem like they should be together. She usually annoys me but wasn't so bad this episode. I still am unsure about them being together but it was sad when Jabar said he wishes they were a "under one roof family"

1. I feel bad for Christina and would have totally reacted the same way- especially considering she just had a baby. I remember all too well how unsexy I felt during certain moments with the extra pounds, leaky books and baby spit up all over me! I would have totally flipped particularly after he lied about firing her. It would have made me think something was up!
2. I was literally saying, "No, no, no!" to the screen as I realized what was going to happen with Julia and Joel. Although if it doesn't work out with this baby I hope it turns out that she's miraculously pregnant on her own anyway.
3. Crosby and Jasmine
Sorry for Jabar but I cannot take them together. She's seemed okay lately but she was crazy when they were engaged. Not that I condone cheating but she led him to it and I don't think she realizes that yet! I am bummed that they slept together. I was yelling, "No!" to that as well. LOL
SN: DH and I really like Minka Kelly so when all the talk was going on with Jabar we were going, "Minka was worth it!"

I think that if my husband truly had no feelings for the woman and did not plan on letting her go, I would not want to know because you can bet that if I did know I would insist on her not being part of his life at all.

I love this show.
I feel bad for Joel/Julia but I could see this coming a mile away. It is how most adoption story lines go on TV, the couple gets extorted for money. I know they are sad, but I am glad they stood their ground with Troy and told him they would not be buying the baby (even though, ironically, Julia called it "buying a baby" as the beginning of the season).

I feel like everything is getting crazy now. I am still annoyed with this receptionist storyline. I just want it to be over. I assume though that when Max gets lost next episode, the panic will bring Kristina and Adam closer, and that'll be done with. At least that's what I'm hoping.
I know Jasmine isn't popular on this board, but I really liked her and Crosby when they were together. They have good chemistry. I think that it was the writing's fault that she got crazy - that was really inconsistent. BUT I think it's dumb that they got it on again.

The storylines are really riveting but I don't like where they are going with Christina & Adam.
Also, where is Michael B. Jordan? I am so sad I've lost my eye candy every week.
I always thought she was quite controlling and that it was just heightened during the engagement with the wedding planning.
I wondered though if something would happen after Jabar asked if they would EVER get married and they said no. They probably should have left it a little more open. Maybe they won't get married but they aren't over and that kid is in for a lot of confusion.

I totally told DH never to have a conversation with me like the one Adam & Christina had in the kitchen b/c I would stab him with the closest sharp object. Rachel needs to be fired, did anyone else get the vibe that she could be one of those crazy, "but i love you!" girls?
I am so glad Joel stood his ground last night and I hope they don't give in to Troy & pregnant coffee girl just b/c they want a baby so badly.
Hate Jasmine. She can go away.
I felt bad for Amber but I thought her reaction with the whole budget thing was so realistic & well done. I hope she finds her path.

I thought Christina's reaction was dead on. I know it is just a TV show the conversation with her and Adam upset me. I have never let a show upset me like that. My heart just broke for her.
Adam just needs to get rid of Rachel.
I wondered if Adam CAN get rid of Rachel. Can you be fired for that? however, that was not brought up as a reason that he didnt fire her.
Am I the only one that doesnt think Rachel is all that hot? she dresses to show off her body, but her face isnt SO amazing. She is attractive, but I feel like they are making too much of her. The therapist for Max (that worked in their house) is much cuter.
I also think that if you really trust your husband - and the fact that he told her the truth should make you trust him even more - should make you not care about the kiss. I would like to think that I wouldnt care. I might hate that girl but I would know that my H would never act on her advances. Then again, Christina is supposed to be feeling low after giving birth, etc. And, probably finding a job and doing something for herself is something she needs anyway for her mental health.
I also wondered if he could fire her....
As for being honest, yeah he was honest about the kiss but he lied about firing her and that's what bugged me. I would have been so hurt and shocked to call and hear her voice after believing she'd been fired. And you are right- she isn't actually hot at all. Even wearing the sexy clothes doesn't make me say, "wow look at her body." I am totally indifferent to her.

This! She did great with Max in that episode, so I totally think she should go into that field, hopefully she will.
As for the Adam/Christina thing, I have never had a baby, so I honestly can't relate to the post pregnancy hormone thing going on. That being said, I still think she overreacted. Adam didn't have to tell her anything, and he did. Yes, I can understand that she would be upset that he didn't fire her when he said he would, but she didn't listen to a word he said when he was trying to explain himself. She just went ballistic on him. I don't know, her character just annoys me sometimes.
I don't like Crosby, flat out. I don't find him attractive at all, so I guess I just don't see how he gets all these hot girls. Jabar is cute though, love him.

I totally agree with you. I felt so awful for Christina. That actress did a wonderful job with those scenes.
I am glad Adam did not fire her. I was worried that it was going down a really lame she was going to sue them for sexual harassment route. Legally I don?t think he can fire her for what happened. I understand why she was upset but he should have been upfront and explain that he can?t just fire her for what happened.
