What are you thankful for? I have plenty to be thankfule for but here are a few. I'm thankful that so far my brother has been safe and bored in Afghanistan. I'm thankful for good health insurance that will cover my WLS. I'm thankful for a supportive friends and family who are exctited for me to have WLS.
Where are you going for Thanksgiving? I work 7am-7pm
When I get off I am going to go over to my mom's. She will have a plate for me from my aunts. Then I'm going to take a power nap and watch the Ravens game.
Who will be doing the cooking? B's family all pitch in. My aunt takes care of everything on my side except for apps and desserts.
Whats your favorite Thanksgiving dinner food? Stuffing!!!! Oh and my aunt makes the most amazing brussel sprouts.
Least Favorite? sucatash
Does your family have any traditions that you love? We all say what we are thankful for and b/c all of my uncles are smartarses its pretty commical. We also use my great grandmothers silver flatware.
Are you going Black Friday shopping? YES!
What is your strategy if you are? I'm really annoyed that the stores at opening at midnight. It is really screwing with my plans. This is why I am power napping at my moms. We are going to go to Walmart at 10pm, Khols at 12, then onto Target and I also need to hit B&BWs. I will probably only make it til maybe 4ish (am) before I totally crash and burn. I'm hoping to end the morning at Panera to see B.

Where are you going for Thanksgiving? - My aunt's house, about 45 minutes away.
Who will be doing the cooking? - the hosts, my aunt & uncle

What is your strategy if you are? - Avoid the roads!! I will be working all day so I should at least be in the clear somewhat.

Where are you going for Thanksgiving? Despite all of my vents lately I am extremely thankful for a healthy child so many folks I know have children wtih chronic illnesses and unfortunately this one child is going to pass soon...and so far I've been lucky to have a healthy pregnancy
Who will be doing the cooking? Deep Fried Turkey but in our Oil-less Turkey Fryer...we have both haha, green bean casserole, stuffing, baked mac and cheese, baked mashed potatoes, cranberry marmelade sauce, rolls, pumpkin pie, cherry pie, white chocolate bread pudding...all for 4 maybe 5 people haha

Least Favorite? That's absurd
Does your family have any traditions that you love? I've created most of them, but H's family does sausage balls for breakfast and then we have some snacks and watch the Macy's Parade and football, then eat...normally we'll watch Christmas Vacation that night but A&M is playing Texas and BIL went to A&M so Friday we'll watch it. Normally we go around and do what we're thankful for but I find that isn't the best thing to do this year

What are you thankful for? my health and having a place to go on thanksgiving with people whom i love and whom i am comfortable with. i spent one thanksgiving by myself and it suuuuuuucked.
Where are you going for Thanksgiving? IL's about 40 min away. Although, they just opened a toll highway yesterday and I'm thinking it will take 20 minutes off that. So I guess I'm thankful for that, too!
Who will be doing the cooking? MIL with a couple of extras from guests.

Least Favorite? Green bean casserole. Sorry for those who love it! I'm sure I have plenty of other least favorites, too. I'm not a huge fan of thanksgiving food.
Does your family have any traditions that you love? No. Just the typical: women cook all day, men sit on their fat asses watching football all day. Then we blow through the food in about five minutes. Then tons of dish washing. MIL tries to say grace and get deep but the men make jokes and sighs. It's rather annoying.
Are you going Black Friday shopping? No. I try to avoid brick and mortar shopping from now until after the first of the year. I can't stand crowds.
What is your strategy if you are? n/a
What are you thankful for? I am thankful that my little guy is healthy so far and that I am approaching the end of my pregnancy and will get to meet him soon. I am also really thankful for my H. He has been wonderful so far this pregnancy and I really think he is going to be such a great dad.
Where are you going for Thanksgiving? We are going to my grandma's house.
Who will be doing the cooking? My mom is doing most, but I am doing a little and my aunt is doing a little

What is your strategy if you are? I am avoiding all major retailers and trying to stay away from the crowds as much as possible.
What are you thankful for? Husband, family, friends, house, car, job, health.

Does your family have any traditions that you love?When I was little we used to go around and say what we're thankful for. I miss doing that. I make DH do it with me on the drive to the In-laws.

good idea! h would do this with me alone i think but with his family he doesn't like to get mushy.
What are you thankful for? H's job and the fact that we get to spend more time with him.

Least Favorite?I don't make anything I don't like. MIL made waldorf salad a few years ago, didn't like that.

What is your strategy if you are? We don't want any of the big ticket items, so we'll wait for the huge rush to be over before heading out.

I am thankful for my family, for the baby that's growing inside me right now, for our jobs, and for food. I love food. I am also very thankful that H will be graduating with a Master's degree this December!!!!

We are having lunch at my SIL's and dinner at my parent's house.

SIL will do it all on her own with her H. At my mom's, my sister, my mom, and I will cook.
