Evie is moving up in daycare!

Wow they are moving her next week to the next room! She has been in the pre walker early walker room for 3 months and is moving again! This room they still use nap mats and have the same schedule. But they eat off of tables and benches! Eek! This room is mostly play area so that should be good.

They need the room and she is ready to move. She is the second oldest in the room (the one older than her isn't quite walking yet) . Just wow. She is growing up so fast...

Also, question for moms - when did you get rid of the high chair. I think we are close to getting rid of it. She will eat 3/4 of her meal in it. Then pile everything into her hands and want to get out of it. Or she will try to grab stuff off of it when she is done but doesn't want to go back in it. I think someone is getting a booster seat for Christmas

  • Exciting! That was a fast move

We got rid of the highchair around a year. Alex had already been walking for a couple months, so we got her a little table and chairs next to ours. She loved having her own place to eat like a big girl. She now likes to be on the regular chairs at the dining table. We only had a space saver chair though, not the whole high chair thing.

Yeah fast! I am thinking about getting her a table like yours for Alex if she does well at daycare with it... Could be good for art projects and eating

  • We used the high chair with Abby until 18 months and then we got her one of those Cushee seats.  We are going to be ditching the big high chairs and just using our travel ones and having the girls sit at the table once we come back from Thanksgiving.

My girls are going to get moved up soon.  They have been napping on cots since their 1st birthday and will eat lunch at the small table in the toddler room.  They eat cheerios there in the morning and its so cute seeing them sit at the table.
