Happy "Friday!" Let's have a little non-clicky poll.
Wow, I can't believe we went a whole day without any posts yesterday. New low, people. I'll nip that in the bud this morning.
What a nasty day out there. I don't think any of you were flying anywhere today, but stay safe on those roads. Since we've already talked about our Thanksgiving plans, tell me:
What are you most looking forward to over this long weekend?
What Thanksgiving dinner food are you salivating over most?
And of course, what are some things you're thankful for?
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: Happy "Friday!" Let's have a little non-clicky poll.
Ha, we think alike!
What are you most looking forward to over this long weekend? Sleeping in for three days in a row (Thursday doesn't count because I think we are getting up for high school football).
What Thanksgiving dinner food are you salivating over most? Pie, probably.
And of course, what are some things you're thankful for? I am most thankful that my mom is home from the hospital (she was really super sick). Everything else kind of pales in comparison to that, but I'll also say I am thankful that I don't have to do any travel this weekend, other than family visits tomorrow.
What are you most looking forward to over this long weekend? Spending time with our families, doing some shopping (maybe), sleeping in, and not having to work.
What Thanksgiving dinner food are you salivating over most? My MIL makes a killer stuffing and my mom makes the best gravy. And also, I love cranberry sauce. Thanksgiving dinner is my favorite!
And of course, what are some things you're thankful for? I am for my H and for our families and our jobs and my cats.
What are you most looking forward to over this long weekend? Not being sick anymore. (Seriously, I've just spent a week coughing.) Sleeping in, being lazy, and getting to hang out with my husband. Also, my brother is FINALLY proposing to his girlfriend today, and since I'm the only person who's known for, like, 6 weeks, I can't wait to not have to lie anymore. (Like when my mom asks if I think he'll meet the deadline his girlfriend gave him, heh.)
What Thanksgiving dinner food are you salivating over most? If it comes out as good as it did last year, then the stuffing.
And of course, what are some things you're thankful for? My husband, our families, and the fact that everyone is relatively healthy (*knock wood*).
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
What are you most looking forward to over this long weekend?
Christmas tree day...we go to cut down our own tree!
What Thanksgiving dinner food are you salivating over most?
Stuffing!
And of course, what are some things you're thankful for?
My wonderful husband, amazing little baby and our dog!
bostonbaker, I had no idea your mom was sick. So glad to hear she's doing better.
Glad you're feeling better too, 5KC.
What are you most looking forward to over this long weekend?
Just being away from work for four whole days. I've probably already made more plans than I should for the weekend, but what else is new. Oh, and I guess I'm excited about closing on our refi on Friday--3.875% 30-year fixed, baby!
What Thanksgiving dinner food are you salivating over most?
My prime rib--I really hope I don't screw it up!
And of course, what are some things you're thankful for?
My fantastic husband that puts up with all my ridiculousnessThat my family can be together for the holidays and that everyone is generally happy and healthy
That we're all financially sound in this bad economy
That I have amazing friends in my life
That I've been able to meet so many of you these last couple of years and that you're all so cool IRL
*drools* I can be there in 10 minutes, heh. Good luck, Rock!
What are you most looking forward to over this long weekend? I don't have a long weekend, shortened work days today and Friday but still I have to be here. But I am looking forward to my class reunion
What Thanksgiving dinner food are you salivating over most? turkey & homemade mashed potatoes with gravy. When I make mashed potatoes I go the lazy route & use a box
And of course, what are some things you're thankful for? our healthy, steady jobs & income, roof over our heads at night, food on our table each day, & my family and friends
What are you most looking forward to over this long weekend?
relaxing and decorating for Christmas
What Thanksgiving dinner food are you salivating over most?
I love stuffing!!!
And of course, what are some things you're thankful for?
My amazing partner who puts up with my crazy schedule, my supportive and loving family, the wonderful musicians I get to work with in my handbell ensemble.
Heck, you could practically walk over in ten minutes! Too bad Thanksgiving isn't at my house though!
What are you most looking forward to over this long weekend? going out tonight in NY with my DH, SIL and their high school friends (whom I love). Going to NYC on Friday.
What Thanksgiving dinner food are you salivating over most? stuffing and gravy!
And of course, what are some things you're thankful for? good health, loving family and friends.
Holy crap, that's awesome! We're looking to refi too, but I've been super lazy about it.
I started the process a couple of months ago and am just closing now. Mostly my fault though as I was slow to send in the application after locking. It was original at 4%, but then floated down to 3.875% (one free float down) the next day. I'm ecstatic!
I was sure that the last refi we did at 4.875% was going to be the last one. Happy to be wrong
I can give you the info for our mortgage broker if you want. He's great and I've sent lots of people to him.
Please do! We're currently in a 5/1 ARM at 5.25% (I know, MM would crucify me!) and I'm dying to refi to a 30 year at a lower rate. My credit was less than stellar when we bought the house, but is now above 750 so we should be good.
