How do you guys make your sweet potatoes at Thanksgiving?
I need a good recipe and haven't been able to find one. My husbands mom just dumps canned yams and butter, brown sugar and marshmallows into a pan, and his step mom whips hers (my H said he didn't like them like that) so I wanted an awesome recipe I can make for the two dinners I am going to.

That might be a lot of work though since you're doing it for two dinners, but I have never found a bad Tyler Florence recipe.
I don't mind them whipped in a casserole.
I am making this recipe from Bon Appetit's 2010 Thanksgiving issue. I made it last year and it was amazing. I skip the pecans because I don't like nuts cooked into things.

Pretty much what she does.
I'm not a fan of whipped sweet potatoes either.
Check the PW website. I'm sure she has a recipe!
