Re: What's Bugging you Wednesday

  • This is about H: I have asked him on 3, count it 3, separate occasions to get his crap out of the kitchen, and off of the kitchen floor.  I got up this morning, and it was still there.  Annoying!
  • I'm annoyed with this stupid cold!  It won't go away, and I feel like poo.

I'm also annoyed with my cats because they keep peeing everywhere. I blame MIL.

  • BIL still has not committed to Thanksgiving with us tomorrow.  So I still have no idea if its 5 people coming or 8 people coming.
DH is still not bothered by this.  I told him BIL and his children can sit in the backyard and I will make them a PB&J.  Maybe I was a little over dramatic...

I wish DHs all over the world would recognize the importance of knowing who is coming to what and when as well as being on time, staying committed to the activities the commit to, AND not making plans w/o first consulting the wife.  Boys are dumb.

That is SO frustrating! I would have said the same thing about the backyard and the PB&J, and in like 2 months you will probably laugh at what you said, but right now that is annoying beyond belief!

I have the same issue with my DH.  I tell him through go through his mail that is sitting on the table so that we can clear it up.  He looks through it, recycles the junk, and then puts the mail that he wants to keep BACK ON THE TABLE!!!

  • I have another thing that is bugging me.  I was chatting with a friend and he was telling me about this HUGE group project he had due last week.  Well apparently the other group member did not do ANY work on the project.  My friend was up front with the professor that he did all of the work and the other group member got pissed off that he was not given any credit.

Why do people think it's okay to mooch off of other people's work? I had that happen one too many times when I was in college, and it annoys the heck outta me! Ugh!

  • My parents cancelled on Thanksgiving because my dad is sick.  I'm bummed because I was looking forward to hosting both families.  I understand that my dad needs to rest and relax in order to get better, but I'm still pretty bummed.

  • Family and holidays are bugging me. Why do people lose their minds when it comes to holidays? Every year we have an issue with certain family members. I want to yell at them that it's not all about them and quit upsetting everyone.  Sometimes sacrifices have to be made. Start making them and shut up. The rest of us do.

I would start putting his mail on his pillow on his bed.  My solution to forcing him to put away his clean laundry was to lay it ALL down the side of his bed, and it worked out very well actually.  I think, though, I just need to be up front with him and say, "Look it stresses me out that I have to walk around your pile of books to walk through our kitchen, and if you want me to make you food, the kitchen has to be clean".

I am sorry! No one likes missing their family on the holiday! Maybe you could go see him on Friday?

    Agreed 100%

Jay: So sorry to hear your dad is sick hope he gets better soon.  I would be bummed too.

Latte:  I agree the holidays make people crazy.

Well I am off to work.  Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving.  :)

  • I thought a something that I was working on at work (redundant) was going to work out one way, now I don't think it's going to work out at all.  I know there's a greater reason in the universe for it, but it STINKS.

  • I got a flu shot yesterday and my arm really hurts. :(  Usually it's a little sore after a shot, but right now it's throbbing and distracting me as I'm trying to concentrate on work.  Annoying!!!

Oooh, I should do that!  Thanks for the tip!

  • Stebbe :

That is so rude!!! Of course your DH is not bothered, I assume he is not doing the cooking. Tell him they have to noon today to make a decision.

  • It can  be bash on H day...

I am annoyed that today I had to remind H that it was garbage day, and then he got mad at me and called me a nag. First, why do I have to remind you every week? Do you not notice all of the neighbors have their garbage out. And second, I wouldn't be a nag if you would just remember to do that one simple task each week. I mean I dont' forget to do laundry every day right? So how hard is it to put the stupid can in the front of the house... ARGHH..

  • Stebbe: make food for 5 & if they show up, say "sorry, I only made food for who I knew was coming, I'm taking my share, if there is any left you may have some."  Or give them DH's share of the food & make DH go hungry.  That would make them learn to tell you ahead of time.  And I agree w/Peanutsmom, he's not cooking right?

  • I want this stupid head cold gone, I don't want to be miserbable w/family here & if it's in the 50's & sunny, I would like to go for a walk outside to get fresh air!

  • It's bugging me that we're still unpacking after being in our new place for a month.  And really, I can only be annoyed with myself for that... DH pretty much did the whole move and 90% of the unpack himself.  I'm insanely lucky in that.

It's also bugging me how much money we're spending on things for the new place.  Buuuut, at the same time, all I want to do is go out and buy new things for all the rooms!

  • Abbey! I know the same feeling. The only difference for me is I still have boxes at my parents house/my old apartment.  I want to just get everything centralized, but I am too lazy to go get it all from the apt/my parents house.

AND, it seems like every time H and I go out somewhere, we end up coming home with something else for the place.  But honestly, I love that he wants to spend the money there because I LOVE decorating! haha Big Smile

Oooh, I should do that!  Thanks for the tip!

Are you going to put is mail on his side of the bed or are you going to talk to him? Because personally I think the first option is the more comical one haha Wink

  • I'm annoyed that I have to come into work on Friday even though I requested it off weeks ago.  Angry

I don't normally go all crazy shopper on Black Friday, but I do like to hang out with my mom and people watch at the mall.  The only store I really care about going to is Bath and Body Works because they let you combine all your coupons in one transaction that day.  I just called the one by my house and they open at midnight?!?!  Looks like I'll be headed there bright and early!  LOL
