  • emyinpink: I had one of the original ISI's and LOVED it. But some cream went bad and after multiple tries, I had to give up because I couldn't get the mold taste out of the top so everything after tasted moldy :( I haven't bought a new one yet as I was so sad (mine was metal and now they're plastic).

We'll be a total of 8. This will be the first year my cousin hasn't been with her mom, so we're making sure to have the 2 things done the way they do it to help with the homesickness. Um, I didn't know everyone does appetizers? We don't have that planned, so oh well!

    • Turkey - figuring out prep tonight, got a fresh salt-brined from TJs
    • Gluten/dairy/soy-free gravy (my first try)
    • Mashed potatoes
    • 2 kinds of yams: brown sugar/butter/cranberries/pecans and brown sugar/marshmallow
    • 2 kinds green beans: ucky from a can (for FIL who will only eat that kind and it's impossible to get veggies in him, so I do what I can!), sauteed with lemon, orange, and garlic
    • Sourdough cornbread dressing with herbs, cranberries, and dried apricots
    • mixed green salad
    • rolls (whatever MIL brings)
    • red & white wine (whatever my dad brings)
    • Gluten/dairy/soy-free pumpkin custard (basically just the homemade pie filling in a dish), and gluten/dairy- free version of this Cinnamon Almond Cranberry Tart http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.marthastewart.com%2F317068%2Fcranberry-almond-and-cinnamon-tart&h=1AQG6HyfLAQHHia1Mxswoz02lfO6jRhxMBUiNCFXln6B_2w
