The Artist is wearing one of my v-necks

as an undershirt today.

He slept over last night and didn't bring an extra. I have a couple of white v-neck Ts that are a bit big on me, so I gave him one, which barely fits him. He goes, "Oo, I like it because it makes my muscles look big" Confused haha!

sigh. I am feeling lovey-dovey about him today :) Feel free to AW something lovey-dovey about your main squeeeezeee

Re: The Artist is wearing one of my v-necks

  • Aww! How cute!!!

The BF was extra cuddly this morning. He knew I had to leave so I could get to work and he just cuddled even more. I let him, I mean, heck...it IS his birthday. Smile

  • Aww that's so cute and funny!

No lovey dovey for me, but I get to spend the next 3 days with my 3 year old nephew--he's my little lovey dovey.  Such a cute little guy, I could chase him around for hours (and very likely will)!

  • Mine gave me a dozen roses last week, and he drove an hour and a half just to see for a couple of hours yesterday so we wouldn't have to wait more than a week to see one another....
  • that's too funny

mine is out of state visiting family for the week, I couldn't go due to a surprise party this weekend for my birthday. We went to dinner on Monday before he left and he was very sweet and lovey dovey, it was nice.

On a side note, I'm not normally like this but I really don't care for when he travels out of town. I don't know what it is, it's not like I see him every day when he's here but maybe it's just because he isn't 20 miles away.

    Yes

I lost my only niece and nephew in the divorce, ha. :( Not many little ones in my family at the moment. I guess I'm waiting on my married cousins to start popping them out! ;)

  • Hmmm...BF is letting me drive his car today while he's at work since mine is in the shop.  And is taking me to the airport tomorrow morning at the asscrack of dawn so that I can fly home for Thanksgiving.

Apparently he told one of his coworkers that we're going to the Bahamas in April, and the coworker asked if we were getting married!  Hmm  That's like the 3rd marriage comment in a month.  We haven't even been dating for a year!  Jeez!

  • I got a text this morning from Z wishing me happy bday. He is coming over tonight and he messaged my sister on fb but neither will tell me what was said. She said it was asking about something for my bday.

I made homemade pancakes for dinner last night and he loves cooking. I thought about him while making them and they turned out to be sooo yummy!

  • I'm not feeling very lovey dovey today towards BF, but he is at the grocery store picking up ingredients for T'giving dinner, which is sweet.

I've been stressed out lately-- trying to not take it out on him.

  • Aw, cute!

I came home yesterday to a clean house including steamed/mopped floors, scrubbed bathrooms, laundry done & put away AND dinner cooked! We are good about sharing chores and helping each other out, so it was a nice surprise! He works 3rd shift but was home last night, so it was nice to cuddle and spend some time together!

  • I was putting on my make-up this morning.  H asks "why are you putting all that crap on your face."

I responded, "so I look pretty."

He says, "You're prettier without it."

"You cannot protect yourself from sadness without protecting yourself from happiness."
  • I'm just going to Yes this whole post!

  • Yesterday my guy went hiking in the rain - he says you just need to get out and do things like that sometimes. I saw him later last night and he gave me a little plant  he dug up and had put it in a pot. Apparently he picked it from the side of the mountain that overlooks my house, its the PA state flower (where I am from) a Mountain Laurel, he says it blooms pink flowers, he found some moss and a piece of pink granite and put it in the pot with the plant. I like pink. He says he hopes it grows and blossoms like our relationship.
It was seriously the most thoughtful thing anyone has ever given me.

Of course today now he is sick - probably from hiking in the pouring down rain in November.

If you are looking for the love of your life, stop. He will be waiting for you when you start doing things you love.
  • I got beautiful flowers at work from the FF for my birthday. Love him!

  • He scrubbed the entire oven and stove for me last night so it would be clean for cooking tonight and tomorrow.  I adore him.

    We're kind of going out.
  • I love that feeling!

My BF always sends me a text in the morning before I wake up. It's usally a sweet message along with terms of endearment. Big Smile

Now this shows love!! He deserves something special for that!

  • Love this post! Only, you should have taken a pic of the Artist with your shirt on and shared it Wink

BF knew I was having a rough day yesterday so he came home and was all snuggly with me. Then he made dinner for me. It was yummy. Although he managed to set a wooden spoon on fire.

I laughed and took a picture. It was on the tile so there wasn't any danger of burning the house down.

When I was a kid (maybe 7 or 8), we had a fire department come give a presentation at our school on fire safety, etc. One of the firemen said that at some point, everyone would experience a fire in their home.

    I FREAKED.

I went home and told my mom that I was terrified because we were going to have a fire, we were DEFINITELY going to have a fire, and blah blah scaredkidtalk.

My mom said we had already had "our" fire because my dad caught a potholder on fire one time. That seemed to work for me. I got over it.

Looking back, I bet my mom was PISSED at those firefighters, haha!
