is this a good deal? (Omaha Steaks)

I am thinking of it as a gift for someone:

$49 - Omaha Steaks: 36 Gourmet Cuts and Sides, Reg. $177

Re: is this a good deal? (Omaha Steaks)

  • I Googled and found the breakdown of the 36 items:

    - 4 (5 oz.) top sirloin steaks

    - 4 (4 oz.) boneless pork chops

    - 4 (4 oz. approx.) boneless chicken breasts

    - 12 (4 oz.) Omaha steak burgers

    - 8 (3 oz.) gourmet franks

    - 4 (5.75 oz.) stuffed baked potatoes

I still think it's a nice gift idea, but for me and Otto we only really weant the steaks, so we wait for them to go on mega-sale and try to score free delivery. I think at one point we got 16 top sirloins for $50ish bucks, or about $3 apiece. That was a good deal to us.

  • I think that's a good deal but totally ditto dmuppet - we've gotten these gift packages with chicken, baked potatoes, etc. and really to me the steak is the best part.  But that's practically speaking - if you think the recipient would like it, go for it!  I warn you though - once you order once they HAUNT you by calling your house at dinner time.
