if you are not stationed near an MTF
Can you choose either Prime Remote or Standard? I have to have a very specialized surgery next year and we will not be near an MTF. There is a surgeon in our new city that specializes in the procedure I need. I need to figure out how to go about ensuring I can go to him for surgery.
Re: if you are not stationed near an MTF
Crikey, do you have time to work all this out before you need to have the surgery? Personally, I would try to go the Prime route. Why pay money out of pocket if you don't have to. But, if getting in to see the surgeon is very time sensitive, Standard is an option. I guess your local Tricare office would be the most helpful. . .
