iso-Kids christmas crafts
I am in charge of the kids christmas party at work this year and am looking for good craft or fun activities for the party. I need two different things that are somewhat similar in supplies or theme as there will be 14 kids half of them under 4 and the other half 8-11, and it is unlikely I can find one thing that both age ranges will enjoy.
Any ideas or links would be fabulous!!
Thanks
Re: iso-Kids christmas crafts
You could have them make ornaments out of pipe cleaner and pony beads. Just pre-form the pipe cleaner into snowflake shapes, and then have the kids thread the pony beads onto the pipe cleaner. You'll need an adult or older teenager to hot glue the ends so the beads don't fall off.
Make sugar cookies or gingerbread cookies for the kids to decorate with frosting and candy.
Cut picture frames out of cardstock for the kids to decorate with stickers, etc. Then take a picture of them with a Santa hat, print to the size for the frame, tape it to the back and attach a magnet.
There's always the reindeer made out of hand print cutout and foot print cutout. Use 2 hands as antlers, and 1 foot as the face. Glue eyes and a nose to the face. You'd need someone older to cut out for the little kids.
Pre-cut Santa face (skin tone) and hat (red) out of construction paper. Have the kids glue cotton balls for the beard/hair and draw a face.
