There is total food porn happening in my kitchen.
I just made the most obscene batch of mashed potatoes (in the kitchenaid mixer with the whip). 3 sticks of butter and a small carton of heavy cream... and Bacon Salt. Mother of Pearl they are delicious.

me too. We just have a 20lb tukey marinating in the fridge. tomorrow we will have turkey, cranberrys, sweet potato w/blue cheese& homemade glazed pecans, cucumbers&tomatoes, biscuits, greenbeans&mushrooms, gravy - miini apple pies with leftover pecan crumble on top.
We have to drive across town tomorrow morning, and my husband knows me well so he encouraged me to cook everything tonight...lol.
I hope several of my relatives are also making pumpkin pie, yummmm.

Not much food porn here, yet. DH has injected one turkey and prepped a rub for the other...both will get fried up tomorrow (he's very excited to try frying a turkey). Cake is baked, will be assembled tomorrow. Wine is flowin'.

I just posted on Facebook about what a slacker I feel like, LOL! My aunt and uncle host Thanksgiving and DH and I bring the desserts, so I did a strawberry rhubarb pie and will do a pecan pie tomorrow morning. We also made chocolate cupcakes with my mom so that she and Charlotte can decorate them as turkeys tomorrow to give to all my cousins at T-giving dinner.
That's it! I may get crazy and bake something else just for fun, but I don't have any of the turkey/potatoes/stuffing/cranberry sauce/etc cooking in my kitchen

my kitchen is sadly quiet.
DH is heading to Tulsa for the Uof H game tomorrow with the team. Thanksgiving in this house will be eaten on Sunday.
So today is quiet and empty. and I feel the start of a cold. it's a bummer over here today.
