Total guilty pleasure, cute show. I never saw the first episode but have been watching from about episode 3.
1) Why did they have to move from the city to the suburbs?
2) What happen to her mom?
3) The Cheryl Hines character, where is her husband? I just saw him or the first time in this Thanksgiving episode

Is Cheryl Hines into the Dad?
In this Thanksgiving episode her husband said " you got a dog without telling me?" or something like that, and she replied " you got a girlfriend without telling me!"
What that something that happened in a different episode?
