what fabric do I use for a lightweight toddler quilt?
My kids just moved into a room together and I want to pull it together a little bit more. I want to make a pink and navy rugby stripe blanket for a crib mattress size and a navy and tan rugby stripe for a twin bed. They'll have to be double sided because the inside of the stripe side will be rough or at least ugly because of the seams from the stripes, so I don't want something too hot. I guess they're really more for decorative purposes if that makes a difference.
