Dollar Tree

I love the dollar tree, I alway find cute little things for dd and around the holidays it great for serving trays and cookware stuff. I just spent 30 minutes walking up and down the aisles wonndering about a lot of the items they sell.

Is there one thing you have gotten from there that you are surprise about how well it worked/tasted, etc.

The one thing I love is the draino they sell there, it works just as well as the name brand and WAY cheaper Smile

Re: Dollar Tree

  • I teach kindergarten, so I'm always finding little goodies there to use in the classroom!

One thing I've been really happy about are some storage containers I bought.  When you turn them one way, they all fit inside one another, but if you turn them the other way, they sit on these little notches and you can stack them while things are inside.  I know that my description probably doesn't make a lot of sense, but they are perfect for my math workshop time.  I love them!

  • DH and I got our beer mugs for a dollar each, there!  We have a bunch that we store in our freezer (in the beer fridge) and it's nice to have good sturdy beer mugs that are cheep enough that if we drop a few it wont matter!

  • They always have really cute cat toys.  I can't walk out of there without picking up something for the kitties.  I also go there for cards (2 for $1), shaving cream, ziplock freezer bags, and dental floss.
  • I got LO's birthday invites there, the dish towels usually are cute, the chip-clips can't be beat for $1, and I have muffin pans from there that are still kicking. :)
