Happy Friday Ladies! Any big plans for tonight, or this weekend?
--------------------
I'm battling some post-Thanksgiving upset stomach today and feeling a bit down. DH's friend wants to go out tonight, but all I want to do is go home, cuddle on the couch, and watch a good movie. Maybe an after work nap can help me perk up.
Tomorrow we will probably sleep in - then head to the Brussels scuba shop to pick up a few things for our Xmas trip. For dinner we will join friends for some Thai and then watch the new Twilight movie. DH leaves for France on Sunday and that's my weekend. After a busy 10 days in the US, and a long week of still adjusting I am so looking forward to a lazy weekend ![]()
Re: Happy Friday!
Hello! I'm here! :-) I had Zumba this morning, and now I'm home making stuffing/dressing for Thanksgiving dinner at a friend's this evening!
We had a Thanksgiving dinner last night, and it was a lot of fun! Tonight will be fun too :-) We're off to a friend's in our compound, and they'll be projecting football on the wall of their house. And there'll be a lot of wine :-P
Then tomorrow, I'm hoping to relax and just take it easy. It's been a busy week! And only a few more weekends where I can relax at home before we're busy with travel!

All this Thanksgiving food talk is making me hungry!
This morning I sang an English song and gave a little lesson to M's class. It was so cute to actually see what goes on in his class, he never tells me anything.
Not sure what I'll do tonight, H was out with the boys until 5am this morning, so I'm due for a good night out. Hopefully my girlfriends will be motivated to do something.
Tomorrow night we're going out for a friend's birthday, we'll have M with us, so we'll just stay for the dinner. Then Sunday H leaves for Spain for a week of work. I'm looking forward to having the house to myself.
Morning! I've been busy with my parents here this past week and am getting tired out from all the going out to lunch, sightseeing, etc. I love them but I want to spend more days camped out at home with my new baby. They will be leaving next week though so I want to make sure I spend as much time with them as possible -- they aren't staying with us.
Today I am going to try to relax and tonight my parents are hosting a Thanksgiving dinner for DH, me, and DH's parents at the apartment they are renting. Should be fun!
Tomorrow DH and I are planning to go see Breaking Dawn because we have free tickets. It'll be my first time leaving Aurelia with anyone for more than 10 minutes so I'm a little nervous.

Tonight we're hosting Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people. DH is home cooking now and I'll be heading off in a couple hours to help. Then tomorrow we have a friend's leaving party and Sunday and Monday I have work events for dinner related to a conference I'm organising. It's all a bit ridiculous and I'm already tired at the thought of it all!

I went to work today. Was busy in spurts and quiet the rest of the time. Not too bad. Afterwards I rented a couple dvds, chatted with a friend (who is unfortunately having some health issues - boo!), got a birthday present for a little girl's party tomorrow, and am now chilling at home with the family. We have a friend coming over to help eat leftovers and watch the last Harry Potter movie.
I did talk with work about the upcoming baby. We got some new part-time hires, which is good. But we have two full-timers whose last days are next month and then they lose another full-timer (me) for maternity leave. I talked with my supervisor about my switching to part-time and letting a part-timer take on the full-time spot. They were really receptive. I'm crossing my fingers that they can get this implemented asap. Already having lots of indicators that baby girl is coming earlier rather than later.
