Call me Friday, Black Friday.
Happy Friday! This week has been weird. Monday and Tuesday felt 8 weeks long, but Wed-Fri has been oddly quick. Good? Bad? Who knows.
Anyone shopping or have already been shopping today? I think I'm going to go out after work and check out some deals up here. I'm also keeping an eye on the Amazon lightening deals.
I've got a fairly busy weekend with 2 parties to attend in Toronto tomorrow. I think I'll attempt to sleep in tomorrow morning so I can make it past 10 o'clock tomorrow night!
What does everyone else have on the go this weekend?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Call me Friday, Black Friday.
Good Friday morning!
I might do some shopping today, but to be honest, shopping by myself with a stroller in tow is a little hard since I can't carry all that much stuff. So we'll see. I'll probably just stay home and do laundry.
This weekend I'm hoping that we'll go pick up our tree! We were going to do it last weekend but ILs came for a short notice visit so we didn't get to go. I am way excited about having a tree for the first time since I moved out of my parents' place. My mom gave me all of her Christmas ornaments since they don't bother putting up the tree anymore, but I'd like to start building a collection of our own with a few significant ornaments each year. But for now they'll do!
Baby #2: Surprise BFP 9.19.12, EDD 5.24.13, natural m/c 10.19.13 at 9w
I want to run out to Bed Bath and Beyond, and Buy Buy Baby but that's it. We're still waiting for my niece to arrive so we're all just kind of in a holding pattern until she arrives.
Not much really planned for the weekend.
I don't work until 6pm today so I plan on trying to get some shopping and running around done. I need to go see what's on sale at Babies r Us and I forgot to pick up my nieces princess sleeping bag at Sears when I was shopping yesterday.
It's a beautiful day today so I want to go outside and run but I think I'll hit up the gym so I have easy bathroom access. I would have right after I got up this morning but I had to wait around for the furniture people. We now have a new couch, love seat, end table and coffee table. DH will have to put the end table and coffee table together tonight while I'm at work. Next step is a new TV! I can't wait until everything is all settled and we can entertain.
Tomorrow night I have my Super Santa 4km race. Nothing like hundreds of Santas running down the road before the parade!
I'm trying my best to not leave the house today and stay away from the crazies, but I may have to get to the doctor. I've been battling a serious cough for several days and I can't take it anymore.
This weekend it's supposed to be in the 80s and sunny so I'm hoping to get out for some walks around the neighborhood and maybe go play tennis or something.
Now jumping domestically.
Well that was a crazy couple of years.
I don't really have much planned for today. I am excited it is the weekend.
I've been crazy the past few days with training sessions at work, so I totally forgot about the online shopping opportunities! Oops. Oh well, I'm just happy the week is over, and a big presentation at work today is now in the past.
Looking forward to dinner tonight with Neptoon and her H. I love gtgs! Otherwise, we have golfing and swimming lessons tomorrow and then Sunday I'll do a belated Thanksgiving meal just for DH and I.
I felt a little sad last night when we skyped with my ILs. It was right at their dinner time and we had to watch them bringing out the turkey and all of the sides ... and then we hung up so they could go eat
It was nice to talk to everybody there together, but I did feel a bit removed. It'll be really nice to see them all again soon when we go back to NYC.
Happy Friday all, and have a great weekend.
