  I haven't heard that term in years.  It comes from the movie Gaslight --- based on a novel called Angel Street --- a spouse tries to drive his wife insane.

  I don't think it's that great.  It talks about what gaslighting is (and many people are familiar with the term), and gives anecdotal evidence.  It does not tell you how to turn around the manipulator and stand up for yourself.  Is that what her book is about?  Maybe, but that doesn't make the article as a stand alone that good.

  This describes my exH to a T.  Literally.  He was a damn good manipulator.  We would go to counseling, and it was always me who was in the wrong, not him.  I thank the good Lord daily I was able to get myself and my children away from him.
