SO FlyLady - Products?

Has anyone purchased her rags in a bag? Are they really all they're touted to be according to the reviews and emails she posts? I have read on there that people refer to them as being like magic erasers but that they don't fall apart and don't have chemicals.

I got her toilet bowl brush, the rubba scrubba and the dish scrubbers. I do use the toilet bowl brush, it works well for a daily swish but not so well if it has been a little while since you've scrubbed your toilet, IMO. I have been doing daily swish and swipes for a few weeks now and my toilets still shine and it's never an icky gross long job of cleaning.

I did not like the ones for dishes and went back to regular dish sponges.

I have been working on getting into the habit of scrubbing part of my shower every day with the rubba scrubba. I do like that one for various scrubbing. Also I received her calendar for a Christmas gift last year and it is really nice and big with lots of space to write things in, however this year I am just going to look around, I am sure there are calendars I can find in the stores with as much space.

I am also wondering if anyone has used the various dusters.

 Thanks!!!

Re: SO FlyLady - Products?

  • I haven't purchased any of her products, so I don't know how well they work. A lot of it looks like stuff you can get elsewhere for cheaper. Plus, I don't want a ton of different cleaning things. Who wants to work really hard to get rid of clutter and extra crap around your house, while accumulating a ton of expensive cleaning dohickies? haha

  • I have 2 sets of the rags and I really love them! I hardly use paper towel anymore. I also bought the water bottles because my husband works in landscaping and needed something to keep his water cool. Those also work just as well as people say; I take my water bottle everywhere.

I don't use the rubba scrubba often, but it works really well for getting lint off of window screens and other various jobs around the house.

  • I have almost every product she sells. Love the water bottles, they work great. the rags are great too with the days of the week. I have to bathroom brush and the sink ones, I do not like them and went back to what I was using before. The dusters work great. The mop I love. It can be a duster, a broom or a mop. I love it.

    I hope this helps.

Have you ever used the Mr Clean magic erasers? Would you say the rags are comparable? I have seen reviews online where people say they're as good at getting tough things as the erasers are. Thank you for your review!

  • sorry I did not answer earlier. I love the magic erasers. I use them for so many things. I cannot compare them the same. The erasers I use on walls mostly and the rags on counters and regular clean up. I like them both, but the rags do not replace the erasers.
