Out of the mouths of babes...
Working out on Thanksgiving morning. Pretty big group at the gym.
Stick around after the workout to chat with my boss/gym owner, her husband and her oldest daughter... age 9.
Conversation somehow ends up on my workout partner for that day (she's former military and only works out with us 2-3x year when she's in town). She gave birth 6 weeks ago and has the most amazing backside ever. I say something about wishing mine looked like that, but that it would also look ridiculous on my big hips.
9 year old says, "You're right Casperdy, you do have REALLY big hips."
I thought her mom's eyes were going to pop out of her head.

FWIW, I find it funny that she would say that because I didn't know what "big hips" meant until at least 13. My mom, though she did struggle with her own weight, would never talk around the house about big hips, big butt, big stomach, whatever. In my little child mind, there was "fat" and "not fat". *Sigh* to be a child again.
