baby isaac has been such a trooper... yesterday he showed his mommy how tough he could be and hardly cried.. i think he is used to feeling hungry and isnt bothered by it anymore ![]()
but the good news is they are clamping his NG tube at 5am for 4 hrs.. if he tolerates that then at 9am we get to give him his first meal since monday! (it will be pedialyte instead of breastmilk but still)... if no fevers and no vomiting then we are looking at a possible discharge home tonight.. im so excited and praying hard for a successful day.. my little man has had to go through so much already- i just want him home with no more tubes/wires sticking out of him!!
thanks for all the t&p's- one more day of hard praying is appreciated!!!

PAIF/SAIF/PGAL welcome
sara- my family is local and awesome and brought us an entire thanksgiving feast to the hospital
it was actually really special!
we got teased though because the surgeon came by this morning and said she wants him to do a full day of pedialyte before starting breastmilk... so one more night... ive been pumping every 3 hrs (which absolutely sucks let me tell you) and storing the breastmilk in the hospital here.. isaac has been taking the pedialyte all morning without problem though, and sleeping so peacefully fnally without the hunger pains! im just happy he can eat again, but i will be so relieved to get back home...
oh and congrats on being a "cantaloupe"! i remember that was an exciting milestone
your pregnancy is flying by and your little one will be here so soon!
