@ Can baby travel without a visa?
My brother will be studying abroad in Ireland this spring and my sister is coming to visit us here in London at the end of Feb and then go there for a few days. I would really like for us to be able to go with her.
We should be able to get baby's US passport by then, but I don't know about getting the UK visa in time. Can the baby travel out of the UK and back without a visa? Is there some way this works?
Re: @ Can baby travel without a visa?
Is this baby a non-citizen resident of the UK? If so, I wouldn't risk it.
The baby is a human who needs a visa just like any other human...
I have to book the appointment this weekend. Do I just put an estimated birthdate and then give the actual one when I go? They have some available Dec 22 and Jan 4th. I'm worried the 22nd may be too early as the due date is the 16th so I'm leaning towards the 4th.
My husband's company is supposed to take care of the visa and he's waiting for the guy to return his call and set up an appointment...that's the part we were told could take a bit.
I would do the later date, the 4th, and just put in your due date. It won't be an issue. Definitely try to get the UK visa in person.
Thank you, I've booked the 4th and will have to look into doing the visa in person and seeing how that works with his company.
