Finally!
And it fits!!!
Please excuse the lumpy-bumpies in the picture--he'd been wearing that button down shirt all day and it was hard to get it to lie flat.
The sleeves are just the right length and the neckline lies flat! So, so happy with the way it came out!!!
Now, after the fact, I'm relieved that he picked such a simple sweater. The miles of stockinette were pretty boring, but they were also easy to blaze through. Any other design would have taken at least another couple of weeks to finish.
At least now I can get back to working on my Nestie ornament...which I need to send in a week. Uh oh.

He does indeed have monkey arms! I had to ignore the pattern length suggestions and measure out his arms--they were a good 1.5" longer than the pattern suggestion. Worked out nicely, though, don't you think?

I finished my DH's sweater a couple of weeks ago. After I had frogged it 1 1/2 times (don't ask). And DH loves it.
