DH's birthday is in a month and I'm trying to figure out how much Chinese to order so that I can budget accordingly. I hate trying to figure out how much food to order for a group of people. I don't want to order too little, but I don't want my fridge stuffed with Chinese leftovers either. There's going to potentially be 14 people for dinner, and 2-3 people can eat a lot.
I planned on ordering:
Chicken w/ mixed veggies, Sweet and sour pork, Beef with broccoli, Orange chicken, and Shrimp w/ mixed veggies. Each dish comes with the same sized container of white rice.
I figured I'd order everything by the quart...what would you order? I don't like Chinese food at all, so I really don't know what dishes are more popular and what not. Is that a good variety, or would you change something? Should I order egg rolls too?
Thanks for the help ladies!
Re: Help me plan DH's b-day dinner!
I've never ordered for a group of people, so unfortunately I don't know how much
I think the variety is good. Personally, I like to splurge on egg rolls, but never buy them myself. I think you could get 6 egg rolls and cut them in half.
