Cleaning Laminate Wood Floors

I am looking for a new mop.  I really like the Norwex Microfiber mop where you just use water.  But I don't want to spend $100+.  Any recommendations?

Re: Cleaning Laminate Wood Floors

  • This doesn't help with your budget but I use the Shark Professional (it's $130 from Target).  We chose it because it has a "dust" setting and on the box it said that setting was safe for laminate and hardwoods.  I also have a Rubbermaid Reveal and I like ti for spot mopping but I find that if I actually use cleaner it makes our high gloss floor cloudy.
  • I use a spray mop from Libman - I can't remember the official name of it but it's kind of like a swiffer wetjet. You can add your own cleaning solution (I just use hot water and vinegar) and the pads change out so you can wash them. I like it. It was less than $20, I think I found it and extra pads at Walmart.
  • Target had the Shark for sale on black Friday for $49.  I think it was a 2 day sale so maybe it is still there.
