Tub/Shower Cleaning

Any suggestions on how to clean a shower/tub that has been pretty neglected?  I have always used Kaboom but it seems that I need something more.  TIA!

Re: Tub/Shower Cleaning

  • Magic clean eraser?  Works great on soap scum...

If there is mold/mildew...you might need the big guns (bleach).

  • I used Mr. Clean Eraser when I moved out of my apartment and it really worked well. I wasn't the best at cleaning when I lived in my apt.....
  • If the soap scum is really bad you can shave it off with a razor blade. Also, you may want to consider recaulking. It took a while to do, but made it look so much better.
  • Tilex has been a life savor for me.  It even got behind the caulk and removed the black yucky stuff.

It is strong so, spray it on just let it sit.  Come back in a bit and rinse it off.  So easy.
