What BF deals did you get?

I love to hear all the scores all you brave BF shoppers get.  I'm not brave enough or patient enough to give it a go in person.  What did you get?

I did do some online stuff.  I got a good deal on a camera (Merry Christmas to me) and made some photo books for gifts (buy one, get 2 free).  And I'm so boring that I wait every year until BF to stock up on bras, underwear, running shoes and socks for the family when Kohls has their crazy online sale.  Between their original sale, 20% off coupon, free shipping and $15 Kohls cash...I swear I almost get those necessities for almost free every year.

Re: What BF deals did you get?

  • I don't think I got any awesome deals but I got Christmas shopping done.  Bath and Body Works was doing b3g3 free deal and I had a coupon for a free item, up to $13 in value.  So, I actually ended up spending $22 on 6 body washes/lotions.  I think I'm going to end up using them for yankee swaps.

Mom and I left the house at 430 am, got back at 730, but since I forgot to go to the post office...we went out again for another hour or so.  It was nuts.  I picked up a few stocking stuffers at Target, some clothes for Taylor and a new umbrella stroller.  I was excited to get her some play food and play dishes at TRU for the new play kitchen I bought a few months ago.

DH and I went out today and decided to splurge on a new tv.  It was a pretty good deal and a nice upgrade from what we had in the bedroom.

  • I bought a groupon for Old Navy for $20 worth of stuff for $10, I actually scored two of them, but it wasn't until after that I found out you can't use them online... So we have to wait until next weekend until we head to bangor to use them in store.... Damn being in the county with no stores :(

I went to walmart, but not until around 3, it wasn't bad then, I picked up a couple pairs of PJ pants for about 5 bucks, I <3 new fleece pj's, in fact I've worn them all day today, Sooo comfy!  Other than that I picked up a few stocking stuffers but that's it, not a whole lot of money with me being on maternity leave with no pay.

  • We did get our camera :-) but not much else.  A few games for Abby, but mostly shopping I just needed to get done that I haven't had time for.  Sugar, storage tubs, etc...

  • I went out to Carters yesterday and got a couple of $5 shirts and a pair of fleece pants for James, as well as nice gloves for 50% off.  I also got his train set I've been eyeing at Amazon at the cheapest price I've seen yet- $84 down from $120- though that isn't exactly free! (I really hope there isn't a better deal come Monday or I'll be pissed.)

Otherwise, I did a little other online shopping, but don't think I scored big or anything. I wish I had my bro, mom, IL's and SIL's lists to see if I could knock them out too. Oh well.

  • We didn't go out super early (9:30 am, the day was over for some people haha), or really try to zero in on certain sale items - it was more of a leisurely trip with my mom and sisters just for fun and if we saw great stuff we'd grab it.

I ended up getting a few gifts taken care of, the cutest little button up flannel shirt for the little dude, and some great ornaments for my Elfster, Matt's parents, and me, hehe. I also found some new yoga clothes for myself at TJ Maxx, lol. I still have a lot of shopping to do though.

  • An easier question would be what didn't I buy? Here's what I remember buying this weekend:

    Online:

Staples - a GPS (a gift to me from my parents)

Barnes & Nobles - a Nook cover (a gift to me from ILs), a bean bag toss game (going to save it for DD's next birthday), a book for DD

Williams-Sonoma - two oven mitts and some kitchen towels (for me)

Hatley - a water bottle for DD and boxer shorts for DH (stocking stuffers)

Tervis - four tumblers (two for friends' kids, one for me, one for my mom's birthday)

L.L.Bean - a sweater (for me), two shirts (for DH's grandma)

a DVD from a radio program that DH's listens to (he requested this)

    In Store:

Lowe's - two heavy duty utility shelves (for me)

Radio Shack - a GPS case and dashboard beanbag mount (for me)

Hallmark - ornaments (for DD and Elfster)

Michaels - Ott Lite desk lamp (for me)

Joann Fabrics - two other Ott Lite lamps (for me, maybe -- haven't decided if I'm going to return these)

BJ's - Norton Internet Security software (for me), groceries

Target - Leap Pad Cars 2 game (for DD), pajamas (for DD)

Walmart - iPod clock radio dock (for me), jumbo box of Legos (for DD sometime next year?), two princess Barbies (for DD's next birthday), Uno Roboto game (for Angel Tree kid), princess sleeping bag (for DD from grandma), Forza 4 Xbox game (for DH)

And this doesn't include any of the stuff I bought from the "pre-Black Friday" sales.

But...I'm 99% done with my Christmas shopping! :)
