Vacation destinations similar to Hawaii

My husband and I are trying to decide where to vacation this coming summer.  Last summer we spent a week on the big island of Hawaii.  We loved all the nature: rain forests, volcano, snorkeling, green sand beach.  We want something similar but want to travel to other islands such as:  Jamaica, Barbados, Cayman islands, saint Lucia, Dominican republic

 Where should we go?

    St Lucia was very similar to Hawaii. Just not as commercialized. We stayed at Ti Kaye and loved it.

    Costa Rica, Belize, or even a different island in Hawaii-Kaui is beautiful and less developed.

    I vote for Belize. There are some resorts on the mainland with sister companies on the cayes so you can split your time between rain forest/jungle/adventure and relaxation on the cayes.

    R?union Island reminded me a lot of Hawaii. I found the landscape (and the level of infrastructure) to be quite similar.

    Another vote for Ti Kaye at St. Lucia! Also check out Stonefield Villas, Ladera, and Anse Chastenet. :)

    I just came back from Jamaica and have to say...take it off your list.  Not a place to go exploring.  Good if you want to stay on an AI and take tours everywhere.

    If it is an option, go to Fiji.  It is like Hawaii before tourism hit (quoted from a fellow traveler I encountered).  We were there for several weeks and loved exploring the country.

    St Croix was pretty cool for snorkeling and exploring.
