Pre-made Thanksgiving dinner from Wilson Farms?

Hello there.  I have not been on here FOREVER.  My new job has been hell so I do not have much time for personal internet use these days.  I am glad to see some old nesties are still here and that the board has been revived with new ones.  Due to hell job, I am considering ordering a pre-made Thanksgiving dinner from Wilson farms so I don't have a nervous breakdown.  Has anyone here done this at Wilson's before?  I have had their prepared foods before and they are really good...just haven't done the Thanksgiving dinner.  My mom would be horrified but I think this just might be the best option with the time I have this year...

Re: Pre-made Thanksgiving dinner from Wilson Farms?

  • Hi, welcome back! I've never had their pre-made Thanksgiving but I'd trust them to make a good one.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Ditto this.  I've never ever been disappointed with Wilson Farms so I'm guessing it will be delicious.

  • I have not had their pre-made Thanksgiving either, but I would trust them!  I did do pre-made Easter dinner from Whole Foods one year, and it was great!
  • Thanks Ladies!  I ended up ordering the dinner from Wilsons.  I will let you know how it is.  Maybe next year I will have a little more time to cook. Have a good Thanksgiving!

  • Hi again,  I just wanted to give the final verdict on the pre-made dinner. It was REALLY good...especially the stuffing. I think I reheated the turkey a little too long so I would follow the directions of reheating it to 135 degrees next time..I was a little concerned about the recommended temperature but I guess it is fine for pre-cooked meat.  We had 4 adults and 2 kids and there was a ton of food left over.  I would have felt comfortable feeding 8 adults with the meal. I did buy 1 small container of extra mashed potatoes per the recommendation of a woman in line.  I would definitely order it again.
  • I'm glad it worked out!
