I just need to whine - feel free to ignore
This has been my life the past 2-3 weeks:
I'm tired all the time. My vag hurts like someone kicked me and I never knew I could be in so much pain BEFORE the baby comes. I can't get a good night's sleep anymore because I can't get comfortable. I have braxton hicks throughout the day accompanied with some actual cramps (nothing close to timeable) so I'm basically in a constant state of discomfort. I'm swelling and my fingers hurt because of it (and I officially can't bend one of the fingers on my left hand - it hurts too much)
And now today, I'm nauseous. COME ON BABY
Re: I just need to whine - feel free to ignore
thanks ladies
I hate to complain about it because I've really had an easy and completely uneventful pregnancy so far. All of this discomfort seemed to pile on so quickly - I wasn't expecting it that way!
Kara, I totally feel for you, although all that is already a distant memory.
Try ice packs on your lady parts - I found that really helped. I had that pain starting at like 30 weeks.
And around 35 weeks the hand pain started for me too...worst first thing in the morning, right?
The good news is all that goes away after you have the baby...you'll have some new/different pains to deal with but you'll have a baby too :-)
Sleep/rest while you can. Enjoy Tim and go out to dinner, the movies, etc while you still can just the two of you!
oh, Kara. I am sorry. The end is near and all this BS will go away once you see your precious baby girl.
Thanks ladies. I really hate complaining about it because for the most part, I really can't complain - the pregnancy has been so easy and uneventful so far. But I just don't feel like myself and it's bugging me!
Claire- yes the hand pain is worst in the morning. Some days it doesn't really let up in the one finger (like today), but most days I barely notice it by lunchtime.
We're definitely taking advantage of the quiet time right now - we go out to dinner usually once on the weekends and today I basically napped on and off all day.
