Vent

I cannot stand when T is feeling under the weather...not even sick just off.  He becomes such a crank/slug and it really pisses me off.  I went out to see Twilight early this afternoon and I come home and he says he has a headache and feels off.  Ever since he's been a PITA.  He's been short with the baby and whiny.

I'm sorry you don't feel right but 1.) do something about it and 2.) suck it up at least around the baby; I had to work and take care of a baby last week while I had my 2nd round of matisis and I was still a reasonable person.

Re: Vent

  • File this under things they don't tell you about being married.

I'm sorry he's being such a PITA about not feeling well. I hope it passes quickly.

  • Men. I swear they're the biggest babies sometimes.

Quick vent from me....I drove to DC today. Everyone and their mom was on the roads. I wanted to shank someone. I hate traffic.

  • Ugh. Sorry he's being annoying!
I've seen a lot of military surprise homecomings. It wouldn't work on me. I always have my back to the corner and my face to the door. Looking for terrorists, criminals, various other threats, and husbands.
  • When I was first out of college, I worked at State Farm and with a lot of older ladies (like my mom's age or so). The way they talked about their husbands when they were sick made me never want to be married.

I'm thankful DH is not too too bad... but the man-cold may be the worst thing known to women ever. lol

  • Oh, I'm sorry.  Men are babies.  Hopefully he feels better soon and stops bothering you!

This except I never worked at State Farm. My Dad made me never want to marry a man who go sick or broke bones.

Thankfully E is not so bad and he normally just gets even more quiet than he normally is and isn't whinney.

  • I love that when my H is sick he just goes into hibernation mode until he's better.

Sorry he's being cranky, DH is the same way. As for the mastitis, a big yet very gentle and non boob-squishy hug to you. I'm getting over my first case right now and it sucks big time.

  • Ick. My DH just wants to be left alone and plays video games all day.

What do I do when I get sick? Nothing, life goes on as normal - life and child alike will not wait for mommy to get better. :::sigh:::

Not just mean - my wife too.  She was sick all weekend and was a crabby miserable human being.
