What were the best and worst parts about the holiday weekend?

Best: Short stay at MIL's house, getting 3 good bike rides in, birthday party for a friend Sat. night, meeting a friend's new little squishy baby
Worst: A long time friend of DH's passing away, DH went to the funeral in Virginia.(not really bad/worst, just very sad), not getting as much done around the house as I'd hoped, not decorating for Xmas as much as we'd like to have. At least the tree is up and has lights on it.

My Nest Bio and Cycling Advice
Mine was composed of mostly worsts but I will try to keep my vent to a minimum since I've been venting so much here.
Best: there was food on the table and oh yeah SHOPPING!
Worst: 1) family drama 2) Right after AF showed up on Thanksgiving, I had people harass me about when am I finally going to have a baby at all three places we went to. 3) i found out that my pharmacist goofed and was giving me the wrong stuff all along so all those tests and $ spent were for nothing. now, i have to start this whole process all over again. these three things kept me in a sour puss mood for the weekend.
Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
Best - Seeing our families on Thanksgiving, getting most of our shopping done and a start on the wrapping. We ordered the new guest room furniture and it will be delivered tomorrow (yay!). The tree is up & decorated and I am almost done with the holiday cards. We spent lots of time with friends
Worst - getting the house ready for our party this weekend amongst the chaos in the house is stressing me out! I'm taking off Friday and it'll get done no matter what, but it's just overwhelming.
wow, Sam. You win. I would cutabitch if they said soemthing like that, but TIMES THREE?! Oy.

best - noms, shopping and R&R with Cap'n CrankyPants. We saw the Muppets movie, ate entirely too much at MILs, shopped a LOT on Friday (3 malls in one day!), slept in a lot (well, I did!) and tried to do nothing on Sat & Sun because ZOMG the Am/Ex. We killed it. RIP Gold card.
worst - I ate until I hurt @ MILs, and it really did not seem like a lot, but I think we've been eating really well lately (thank you, Whole Foods!) and stuffing expands, so OW. I slept in everyday so waking up this morning was rough. I'm trying not to go buy stuff today that we need (like, ya know, food) because the Am/Ex cycles tonight - for reals, we spent $$$ this weekend.

best: spending time with my family, getting our tree put up (it still needs to be decoarted),and UGA winning!!! such a great end to the regular season
worst: finding out yesterday my great aunt died. i'm sad...but i'm more sad for my grandmother, since it was her sister.

Every time I pass the pharmacy now, I have to roll down my window and scream "I gotta vendetta!" Somehow this makes me feel better.

Best: Accomplishing a lot of good studying this weekend (so lame).
Worst: My H was pushing all of my buttons yesterday, so I went on a 2 hour drive. I came home refreshed!

Best: Watching Michigan beat Ohio State at my first game in the Big House. It was awesome!!! And Georgia winning, too. I love it when both my teams win.
Worst: Seeing my grandma for what will probably be the last time before she passes away. And DH's childhood friend passing away over the weekend, too. It was a mostly sad weekend.
