I just spent the morning fighting with Alex to get her clean since she now hates showers or baths. Got breakfast made, just to have her feed hers to the dog. Packed her bag and got us both in the car to head to my OB appointment. Car won't start. Fantastic. So, now we wait for H to come home on his lunch break to jump the battery, hopefully that's the issue since we've had this problem before. Then I get to shop for a new one, and later take Alex to my rescheduled appointment at 5:30. Her dinner time. Yeah, that will be great fun.
Anyone else having a bad Monday
Re: Yup, it's Monday
um, well, I am still pregnant, does that count?
But honestly, that doesn't hold a candle to your morning, hope your day gets better!!
Ugh, I'm sorry. I hope your day gets better.
Not a bad day for me, per se, but I'm so puffy from Thanksgiving I wanted to smash the scale this morning when it gave me its verdict. And my new pants were too tight so I didn't get to wear them. I am nowhere near my end of year goal and its starting to p!ss me off...
And DH and I got in an argument this morning because he is a gigantic fit-throwing baby. He is really getting under my skin lately.
Being still pregnant is way worse.
Did your dr put you on any meds for your BP, or just the bed rest? That is really high, did you have the same problem with your first pregnancy? I totally feel you on the huge stomach thing. I am pretty much ALL belly, and I grow big babies, so at 40 weeks pregnant, you can imagine what I am lugging around in front of me. GOOD TIMES. haha
Sorry to hear about the blood pressure issues and bed rest. Did they already try to induce?
I can also relate to the big belly and jumpy toddler. Those are not a fun combo. Katie - How big was Jack?
I've been vomiting bile all morning... definite case of the Mondays.
I hope your day goes better! And Katie, I hope Carter gets his eviction notice!
Ok. You all are having way worse days than I am. I hope things get better for everyone.
I have to say, all you pregnant ladies are helping me hold firm with my plan to wait a little longer. BP issues/ bed rest - oh gosh, I hope that's not me again. Jumpy toddler on the belly - ouch! Vomiting bile - no thanks, not again any time soon......
My Monday is not bad - just some major tears at daycare drop-off after 4 full days with Mama and Dada.
I'm still chugging along just fine, just the usual end of pregnancy aches and pains. Go for it!
Hope your days get better, ladies!

Ugh gross, you definitely win!!!! I wouldn't wish that on anyone!
Jill - Jack was 9lbs 4oz (and born the day after his due date). And I am almost positive that Carter is going to be the same, based on how large my belly is.
Megan - I agree with Colleen, my whole pregnancy was good. No bed rest, no BP issues, no nothing except some RLP. I am just getting impatient to finally meet the little guy at this point!!! Well, that and finally have my stomach go down to a size where my shirts cover it, lol. I have like 2 shirts that are long enough to cover the protrusion in front of me. It's a little ridiculous! So baby-make away, haha!
Go for it Megan! My pregnancy this time has been load easier than the first. Even the jumping and running toddler isn't too too hard to deal with, most days.
Can't wait to hear the birth stats on Carter.
No meds. My Grandmother passed away and I had the dr apt right before the wake. My BP has been climbing, but that was super high. She wanted me in the hospital at that moment, but let me go home for the wake, funeral, & thanksgiving on bedrest. I had a non stress test and bp check on Friday @ the hospital and it was a little lower. I am on strict bedrest, with a two year old running around...haha. Dr. apt tomorrow.
I had the SAME problem at the SAME time with Isabella. Two weeks ago I had an ultrasound and Jameson was already 7lbs 12oz!
I'm kind of late to this - but it sure has been a Monday. Everything started out fine - got out of bed and made it to the gym. 3 minutes into my run I start to realize that just because my throat didn't hurt anymore didn't mean that I wasn't still fighting this cold. My chest was tight and I was struggling to get my breath...
Showered, dressed, and realized the pants I was wearing were meant for flat shoes and not the boots I packed. Drive home, get new pants.
Get to work and it's been non-stop ever since. Meeting, meeting, meeting, phone call, blah. And my head is throbbing and I'm tired all because I can't say "no" and still did my 3 miles this morning. Yucks.
Hopefully Tuesday is a better day for everyone!
