F/U Nephew - I got the story

Apparently him and a friend were playing with paper airplanes while my SIL/BIL and the other kids parents were cooking Thanksgiving dinner.

Their house is an open floor  plan, so everything is kind of just there.

Boys were on the landing 8 steps up from the living room and throwing the planes over the 1/2 wall on the stairs into into the living room.

My little nephew can barely see over the wall, so he climbed up and went to throw his plane and without realizing what was going on moved his body in the same direction and went flying over the wall from the landing into the living room floor. He put his hands out to stop his fall and thus now has 2 broke wrists.

Obviously a fall like that could have caused more damage had he hit his head as they initially thought.  He's going to a specialist today to get checked out.
