Are you Cyber Monday shopping? Gotten anything good? What's the best deal you've found?
I should be working, but I'm the only one here so...I'm pretty much not working. I'm not finding anything overly exciting. A lot of jewelry, especially on Amazon.
I did go Black Friday (technically Thursday) shopping for the first time ever on Thanksgiving. I had no idea how crazy it is. I showed up at Toys R Us at 10 p.m. (they opened at 9) because I'd had too much caffeine and wasn't ready to go to bed. Stood in a line for an hour to get in the store (which I wasn't expecting at all, being it was Thanksgiving Day still, I just figured I'd walk right in. Ha, how naive of me), shopped for 45 minutes, then stood in a line that wrapped up and down every single aisle for over two hours to check out. Wandered over to Target at 2:30 a.m. and there were about ten cars in the parking lot. Bought a few things but nothing special. I was hoping that Baby Malibu would sleep till her usual 10 a.m. on Friday morning, since I didn't get home until after 3, but of course she woke up at 8:15 raring to go and H worked. At least all her birthday and Christmas shopping is done. I can't believe my little baby girl will be a year old a week from today. Hoping H gets the kitchen finished today. Her party is less than two weeks away, and I have to have time to put away the contents of my kitchen that's spread out all over the dining room and encroaching into the computer room and basement.
So yeah that was a pretty random post. How was Thanksgiving weekend for TIP?
Re: Best Deals
I tried to order cookies from Cheryls, which I send to my siblings every year because they have some good deals. It won't process though so I might have to try when I get home. Other than that, I haven't really seen any great deals.
I applaud you for being able to deal with those kinds of crowds on Thanksgiving/black Friday. I just don't have the patience.
On Friday on Amazon, I got all 8 Harry Potter dvds for $39!

Actually, I don't have the patience. I stupidly assumed that it wouldn't be that bad when I went to Toys R Us at 10 p.m. Thanksgiving night. I was so, so wrong. By the time I'd sat in the checkout line for half an hour, I was ready to say screw it, and put everything back. But then I figured I'd put in the time already, and it couldn't be much longer, right? (Wrong.) At least it's all done, and I wrapped all the gifts, both birthday and Christmas, to shove under the tree to keep the cats from scaling the tree. Sadly, all Baby Malibu's gifts I bought take up ALL the space under the tree. As the rest of the gifts for our families start piling up, I'm guessing we'll be tripping over them in the middle of the living room.
$39 for all of them? That's pretty amazing!
Right?! That included Deathly Hallows 1 and 2. Two alone is like $17! I was psyched. I got them for my mom.

I'm surprised they'd offer that with both Deathly Hallows, cause you're right, they're pushing $20 by themselves. That's quite a steal. I'm assuming that wasn't Blu-Ray (if it was, I'd really be falling out of my chair right now). I should see how much the Blu-Ray set is and buy it for myself.
I think Blu-Ray was like double (so $80). I'm old skool and don't own a Blu-Ray player so I don't pay attention to those prices.
