What do you guys all do for daycare center Christmas gifts? Last year I bought something for all of Blake's teachers and the director and am trying to figure out what to do this year. At the new center we have a director and asst. director. Blake has a preschool teacher and assistant aternoon teacher. Kennedy has the head infant room teacher plus about 3 full-time assistants and some part-time ones. And I have her first infant room teacher she was with before she switched rooms a month ago.
Do you think I can get all of the FT teachers something and the bring in a tray of cake pops/cake balls to each room for any of the part-time teachers?? I would really like to get something personal for the full-time teachers who are with my kids everyday but not sure how to do that in a nice manner so thought maybe get somehting for them persoanlly and something for the room in general? And what would you spend on each one since there are quite a few??
Re: Asked before but daycare center holiday gifts
For E's two pre-school and two dance teachers I do a Bath and Body hand soap (they were on sale for $2.33 a couple weeks ago w/a coupon I had), an ornament and a $10 GC to Scooters. Something that they can use in lieu of an actual gift like a cup or gloves or something.
I also am going to try to have her make something (a card) to go along with the pre-school teacher gifts, I think they'd like something like that.
I like the idea of cake balls or cookies (Eileens, mmmm) for the PT teachers.
Seems like gift cards are popular options...
My mom actually has a cake pop/cake ball business back home and is doing holiday packs of like 6 cake balls that I may do with gift cards for each FT teacher. I may stick a fun lotion in for his main teacher as well as I know she loves them- Then I may take a bigger box of cake balls to K's infant room for all the part-time teachers and then something similar for director and assistant director.
I like the idea of a handmade thank you card so may help Blake make a few of those-
I'm no help, I'm giving them Scentsy.
Small plug in warmers for the two Main Teachers, and Scenty Fragrance Foam (hand sanitizers) for the Assistant Teachers and the Four ladies that work in the after school kids care. Last year I did warmers for both the teachers/assistants but nothing for after school since they weren't both there last year. I did Scooter GC for the teacher/3 assistants when N was still in preschool.
I think GC would be good to Target or someother place like that though. I did cake pops/treat boxes for just the Teachers/Teacher assistants for Halloween this year and last year, and I might do that again for Christmas if Patti or someone is doing those.
